Elaine Today I finished "Knee High by the 4th of July" by Jess Lourey and started "August Moon".

I don't usually read 2 books in a row in the same series but the library had the ebook available and "July" ended on a cliff-hanger and I had to know what happened.

Elaine Finished "August Moon". Now I have to wait for the library to get "January Thaw".

You're doing great. This is a series I've been wanting to read, too.

Elaine Well, I finally read a book from my sign up list - "January Thaw". Now I'm current with the series. I believe Jess is still writing "February..."

Since the last time I checked in I've caught up on other series - "Decoupage Can Be Deadly" (Lois Winston - Anastasia Pollock series), "The Chase" (Janet Evanovich & Lee Goldberg - Fox and O'Hare series), "Killer" (Jonathan Kellerman - Alex Delaware series), "Moving Target" (J.A. Jance - Ali Reynolds series), "Boiled Over" (Barbara Ross - Maine Clambake series. The book will be out in May; Barbara sent me an ARC). I've also read "Murder Strikes a Pose" by Tracy Weber but as so far it's the only book in the series, saying I'm caught up is kind of cheating. :-)

Elaine Caught up on:

James Patterson's NYPD Red series with "NYPD Red 2"
Liz Mugavero's Gourmet Pet Food Mystery with "A Biscuit, a Casket"
Elaine Viets' Dead End Job Mystery with "Catnapped!"

I've also read some first and so far only books in series - "Dyed and Gone" by Beth Yarnall, "Doing it the Dixie Doo" by Ruth Moose.
