Reading, writing and drawing. I consider the violin my career. ;) Over the next week I may put up some photos of my drawings and I'll paste the link to them here. They're mainly pencil sketches, though I have tried pastels for colouring, as well as just normal colour pencils...

Lovely to hear about your dogs Lucinda :) I myself have two dogs (though really they're the family's).
What do you play on the piano? Are you advanced, or intermediate or beginner? Just curious. :D I always like to hear from other people who play an instrument!
I love to sing. So I've had lessons in college and still sing in my college choir. Not a big opera fan, but I'm learning to appreciate it lol. Other than choir, I have a sizable music library that is ever growing; ranging from pop to hard rock and 80s heavy metal:) My favourite band in the world is SwitchfootI'm a anime/manga fan, so I have gone to several conventions since high school with my friends. No, I don't cosplay...it's too expensive for me xD
I also enjoy crafty things. I cross stitch and occasionally make scoubidoo (did I spell that right?). I dabble in a few other things, but there's only so many hobbies I can keep up xD
Letter writing is also another Hobby of mine - i have a "Pen Pal" whom i handwrite letters to regularly. {In this instance, pen & paper i prefer to typing on a computer}

I wish more people would do this! I love the art of writing letters by hand and sending/receiving them. Sending e-mails just isn't the same.

I really like running. It's good exercise and fun ;)I also love blogging, reading, and sleeping.
Organizing things is so much fun for me XD
I've started to enjoy photography as well.
Aside from reading and writing, the other thing I do as obsessively is reading manga and watching anime. I also like playing tennis, which I've been doing for the past 3 years.
I used to have a Pen Pal, but I think she became disenchanted with the writing part :/ It sucks since I really do love writing letters (by hand). There's just something about receiving a letter in the mail...

I love reading (lol). It's something I just can't live without! And dancing! *_* The love of my life! <3 I also love watching movies and listening to music (who doesn't? ;) :P ) and cooking! It's therapy for me. ^_^
Olivia wrote: "I love anime and manga!! What are some of your favorite anime's?"My top 5: Ghost in the shell, Evangelion, legend of the Galactic heroes, Cowboy bebop and Monster. If you wanna check out everything I've seen: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Bato... maybe you can find something you like.
Awesome! Thanks! I love Cowboy Bebop. I also really like Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, and Sword Art Online.
Olivia wrote: "Yay! haha finding people who like anime can be really hard."Yes, it is personal taste. I can see why not everyone will like anime or manga.
My favourite film has to be Howl's Moving Castle
...have you seen it?

YES! I absolutely love it:)
Studio Ghibli is AMAZING. I love Howl's Moving Castle. I really want to read the book after having seen the film.
The books are amazing. They're so different from the film, but not in a way that pisses you off. That's something not many directors can achieve.
Miyazaki also worked on some classical novel adaptations in the World Master Piece Theather anime. Their Anne of Green Gables adaptation is pretty great.
Writing (specifically messy poetry), baking, singing, playing and listening to music, watching TV shows off of Netflix, and apparently wasting ages of my life on this website.

One hobby of mine would be playing on the DS. I have the DS lite, so the really really old one. I share it with my little sister and every now and then I just play on it. I mostly play Brain Training and I have a couple of Sonic games that I enjoy.
