Into the Forest discussion

I think we had a discussion about Alice a few months ago... Some of us thought yes, others of us thought no for various reasons - structure, length, plot, not being orally told, etc.

It really depends on how you want to define "fairy tale."

I was looking where to put an Alice in Wonderland thread and am not sure!
I could either start a new folder for works that are debatable if they are Fairy Tales or not, or put it in the "Inspired by Fairy Tales" folder.
What do you think about that everybody?

Unfortunately, we can't merge threads on this website... I've seen it done on other sites but here we can just rename subjects and move discussions from one folder to another. (Or, at least, if there is a way to merge threads, I haven't found it yet.)

Nah. Don't worry about it. It can be really difficult to find old threads sometimes, even when you know they exist!

Jaliah, Not sure. Maybe the "Books, Books, BOoks" folder? I bumped the other thread since it was longer and moved it to that folder

I have The Annotated Alice: The Definitive Edition in my home library. It's a must for any Alice fans. The scope of the research is breathtaking, and overall it makes for fascinating and often amusing reading. It made me see Alice with new eyes.

ETA: Reposting this in the other Alice thread. (Still learning my way around here....)
