Laya strode across the deck, looking around.

Aylianna hobbled past. She had splinters in her feet and her hands were cut, and she was bruised. But she was glad to be here, away from all the finery. 'No,' she thought. 'He. He is glad to be here.' Aylianna disguised herself as a man in order to get on the ship. Everyone called her ship's boy. She was glad that so far no one had asked her her name. She didn't have one planned. Right at the moment, she was going to clean the deck. She was carrying a bucket full of seawater and a mop. She was looking down. She suddenly ran into one of the men. She had heard them call him Laya. "Beg perdon ((pardon))," she said in a phony accent. 'Ugh!,' she thought, disgusted with herself. 'Start watching where you're going fool! Otherwise you'll get caught!'

"Don't worry about it," she said kindly, not disguising her voice. Why hide her gender?

"Thanks, miss, er, cap'n," replied Aylianna. 'Now that's one gal who doesn't need to hide her gender,' thought Aylianna. 'She's the most respected woman I know, besides the Queen.'

raliana walked past the ship's boy. looked around and walked up to the capitain.

Aylianna hobbled away slowly and started mopping the deck.

"miss the ship`s boy seems umm.......strange"said raliana

"How do you mean? Do you mean how the ship's boy is a girl? Does it really look like I mind having a girl on board? I'm certainly not a man, and I'm captain."
