E.J. (ejschoenborn) | 144 comments I'm so sorry you have to deal with bullies; it was just as bad for me, too.

I know lots of people say this, but the best thing to do is to tell a teacher/guidance counselor/principal/etc. and get them involved. Keep a dated journal of each instance with details about what happened along with any witnesses to the incident. Doing this, you can have an account of each instance along with supporting evidence that shows this has been going on long enough! a while.
With all of this evidence, the school should be able to help you with your bully problem more.

Lots of people will tell also tell you that bullying is a natural thing that all kids go through. But bullying shouldn't be a natural thing for everyone. It needs to be stamped out and the only way to do this is to make it known.

I really hope it gets better.

E.J. (ejschoenborn) | 144 comments If the teachers, guidance counselors, and principal are not helpful, then go a step higher.
School board members and administrators are literally the all-powerful gods of school-related things. The easiest way to get them to notice something: the journal I mentioned before, a petition/lots of attention from some source (so if you told your parents, and they started calling the school, going, "WTF is going on here!"), or just talking to them yourself.

There is no non-weird way of asking this, but what grade are you in?
I can give better advice if I know what age the bullies/you are, lol.
________

Besides all that though, if you are feeling depressed or lonely, just know that there are people out there who do care/know what you're going through who might've been in the same position (or worse).

You aren't alone, and you should never feel like you are.

E.J. (ejschoenborn) | 144 comments Oh great, middle school.
Best years of my life... *sigh*
_____

What I Did in Middle School to Survive:
-Keep your head down a bit and don't draw attention.
-Always walk with a friend/ally (teachers included)
-Do not respond to bully taunts. Ignorance is best, or only acknowledge that they talked but don't respond; a stone face works best here - no emotion.
-Just keep staying strong until high school. Once you're there, there are four grades to befriend instead of the one you're stuck in. If your friends don't stand up for you or join in with the bullies, try to find more (better) friends who will.
-If you're still feeling lonely/depressed, find something to take all your frustration out on. I chose writing, but it can be anything from sports to drawing to acting to baking to anything you choose really. If it makes you feel happy, do it.

E.J. (ejschoenborn) | 144 comments Any time! :)
BTW, I'm a freshman in college, and I can tell you honestly that it gets so much better.
You know those bullies? They usually can't make it into college, and if they do, there are hardly ANY of them (I've seen none). :P
