I just wanted to put some feelers out and see if there are any indie authors who are interested in taking part in an anthology of science fiction literature that deals with the coming age of space exploration and colonization.

My group and I (Writer's Worth) began work on this back when Ray Bradbury passed away, and we felt that given the current renewed interest in space exploration, NASA's ongoing discoveries of habitable exoplanets, and actual plans to build settlements on the Moon and send manned missions to Mars, that it was time for the subject to be revisited in fiction.

The structure of the book is loosely based on Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, in that it is broken into three parts. The first deals with the project to colonize a new world (Gliese 581 g) getting underway and the First Wave taking place. Part II addressed the challenges of the colonists in setting up a new world and dealing with the native life forms (which consist of several supersentient plant colonies that span entire continents). And Part III deals with subsequent waves coming from an Earth that has changed much since the First Wave left.

Here are some relevant links, which includes our discussion board, a breakdown of the book and which chapters are still available, and the general discussion thread. Come on by if you're interested or just drop me a line here.
