what are you Currently Reading?
I'm currently reading From Dead to Worse (Sookie Stackhouse #8) by Charlaine Harris. This weekend I should be starting City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments #3) by Cassandra Clare :D
I'll be finishing Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children today and then I'll be finishing The Piper's Son tomorrow or the day after that.
Hannah: How are you reading six books at once?!? lolTwins: I have heard really amazing things about The Fifth Wave :D
It does. Since the series got extended, Cassandra really extended the new plot by adding the character Sebastian.
My mom actually bought me Lost Souls a couple of months ago because she knew that I needed it and I was surprised the page difference between Fallen Angels and Lost souls lol
haha the book I'm reading right now though is confusing the hell outta me though! I don't know anymore who I want to live or die!
AngelfallThe Moon and More
Just Listen
The Scarlet Letter
The Perks of being a Wallflower
Eleanor and Park
Currently reading Matched by Ally Condie and I'm in a reading rut! I think I just need a break from dystopian. I've got this to get through, then the Uglies...and then I've got a stack of books waiting for me at the library : To Be MonaThe Best Little Girl In The World
To Be Perfectly Honest
The Chosen One
Gone Girl
Wintergirls
Prozac Nation
The hardest part is going to be deciding which one to start with. :/
I'm probably going to start with Wintergirls since the reviews have me curious. Not gonna lie, usually I go for the most intriguing cover. You should see my library request list...I need to learn to pace myself. My boyfriend always gets sent to pickup my library stuff since I work when they're open and I usually get a lovely text from him along the lines of "15 books?? Really??"Haha :)
haha awwh that's cute though! My boyfriend is a big reader like me so it's awful sometimes, we will go into a store and end up with 10 books each and we're just like... where are we going to put all these books! lol
That's one of the reasons I'm a library fiend. Tiny apartment, not much space. Of course if I read something and realize I need to own a copy, then I'll Amazon it up. Of course if it's an Ellen Hopkins, it's a must buy before test read, lol.
Steph: haha my library kinda stinks in the sense that they don't get new releases very quickly, if a book comes out this month they won't get it till the summer if we're lucky :(
Mine might be the same, luckily the books I've been requesting lately are all a couple years old. It's a big library system so I just get on their website and request the books I want. I've got three pages front and back that I'm working my way through. I'm not too big on series, so typically I'm not in need of newly released books. And so far my library's had about 95% of the books I've searched for. I do have a dilemma I could use some help with...I realized the other day I've never read a Sarah Dessen book. I want to, but she has so.many.books! I don't want to pick the wrong one and get a bad first impression. Any suggestions?
It's so funny you said that! I actually bought her book, Along For The Ride because I had the same thought! I wanted to read one of her books and this is the one that appealed to me the most :) I haven't read it yet (actually I probably should read it soon) but that's the one that I was intrigued by :D
Let me know what you think when you finish it. From the reviews I've read, I think I've decided Dreamland (?) will be my first, unless I hear rave reviews about another one before I get to that spot on my list. It probably sounds weird, but I love books with borderline taboo subjects (hence the Ellen Hopkins obsession). Just about done with wintergirls right now and I'm really liking it.
I wanted to read that one also!! I just found Along for the Ride first sadly :( I'll definitely let you know what I think, I haven't heard anything bad about her and I totally know what you mean! I'm always interested in the taboo subjects as well
@Hannah- I only just started, but it's pretty awesome :)And nice! My favorite of her books is the Truth About Forever, although Along for the Ride is pretty good too!
Let me know how Katherines is. I had it on my to-read but read too many reviews against it to keep it there. Too many other books got it bumped from the list. That's john green, isn't it? The fault in our stars is on my list, but I'm waitlisted for it from the library. I can be patient though, plentyyyy of books to keep me busy in the meantime.
How do you guys read more than one book at the same time? I feel like I'd get characters and story lines jumbled.
Hannah: That makes me excited to read it! Steph: I feel the same way! I usually only read one book at a time :D

Sora wrote: "Just started the Shiver series!!"You have to tell me how that is- I've been tempted to read that for ages!
Meghan wrote: "I'm still reading City of Glass!! I wish school didn't take up so much of my time!"Haha- we all understand!
Started Shiver series- stopped reading shiver series over halfway through. Kind of boring, not much plot but a very sweet book nonetheless! I just started reading Delirium and am hooked now!!!
