My Review/Opinion:The main theme about my book is that anyone can change and someone else can be that reason. You have to protect your motivation and stay on your game. This book is a good bit of mystery, adventure, and a tad bit of romance between the main character and our damsel. I like that the author is very detailed but not confusing. I like her word choice and it really expresses that this is not a kid's book. I recommend this book to anyone that likes drugs. Just kidding, but it is a very good book with a surprisingly good story despite it being for teens about recovery with a hint of violence. This book is set in a modern time that could be close to our time, or it could happening right now in another state or even city. Also, if you were wondering I would definetly not want to be in this story. I don't think I could relate anyway to our main character because I haven't ever experienced what it's like to try and recover off of a bad stain on your record.
Summary: (May have spoilers depending on your definition.)
After leaving juvie, Darren, a new man, who had just taken a fall for Diamond Tony, a gang, he goes back to school and redo his life. In juvie, he was thinking a lot about this girl named Jessica who could end up playing a big role for Darren. After a while Darren is caught in the heat between Diamond Tony and the Bloods (two rival gangs) and the Police. One mistake can be the end up him, but at the same time he has to protect his loved one.
You make this book sound like it has a lot of drama in it, I am not a big fan of drama. However I do like the humor that you have put in your review and the way that you make it sound fascinating by the theme which says anyone can change and another person can be that reason. I can relate to that, so I will try out your book.
you make this book sound like there was a lot of drama bombs exploding everywhere. I think that i honestly wouldnt read this book because i wouldnt want to read a book about gangs and a messed up kid thinking differently about his bae
This book sounds very interesting and I would definitely consider reading this in the future. Your review had me wondering if there would ever be a film based off of this adventurous book. It is not like any of the books I usually read and I would like to give it a try even though it's about a "messed up kid" doing drugs.
This book encourages me to do drugs. However, the book itself doesn't seem that interesting to me (the setting). On the other hand however, your review is very shrektastic.
