I read it. I may be biased because Cassandra was in my Clarion West class, but this is an outstanding book. A truly well written story. I highly recommend it.
Good to hear! I heard good things about this one from another friend. Looking forward to getting into it when I get to it.
I think I may read this one. But reading the reviews I am torn. I don't usually enjoy angsty stories with a bunch of misery and a questionable (or no) positive ending. But all the reviewers seemed to express a deep love for the book and the writing even when they didn't enjoy it. So how could I not read it....
My just-posted review (well, sort-of-review): A very sad (maybe melancholy is a better word) book, but oddly, also the one I think I liked the most out of this year's P.K. Dick nominees. Finished it yesterday, still letting it percolate around in my brain, but something about this one is sticking with me in ways the others did not.
