I like this book, yet it was strange to read JK Rowling in a adult context...

I've read the first chapter at least 3 times already haha
I think I will be more motivated to finish it with buddies :D

Hope we make this a good first buddy read for you! This is a monster of a book haha. It's technically 4th Feb here already but I think I'll start tomorrow :)

About three chapters in - so many characters introduced I have to keep looking back to check who's who

Oops totally forgot to start it, I've joined to many buddy reads, I started it yesterday and it's ok so far haven't read that much yet. Hoping to real a lot more today

I'm actually finishing A Dance With Dragons, so I think I'll start it tomorrow. I've also been reading too many books at the same time hahaha

I keep trying to read this on the train but I end up napping for 30 minutes instead...

I've only read a couple of chapters and I'm overwhelmed with characters! I can't even remember all of their names but hopefully she fleshes them out a little more to help me remember; it's hard to get into a book without liking a character.

@Samantha Ahhh I hate complicated-charactered books like that... Hope it all works out. :)

Oh man this book feels like a chore
I might postpone this read for a while and move onto something I think I will enjoy more...

So I've finally finished A Dance With Dragons (would not recommend if you want to be happy hahaha), so I'll start this one today! (currently a little mad at JK for the whole Ron and Hermione thingy but ok hahah)

Good news you guys! All the stuff JK "said" was taken out of context. The magazine is out now and that's not what she actually meant.

So I've just started it, and I've read until chapter 7 (those are chapters, right?). So far, little confused about all the characters but I'm neither really liking it or disliking it. I don't find that much has happen for now either. I'll just keep reading :)

So, I'm now on chapter II of wednesday, and it got better. It's easier to read than the first pages and I've now memorized the characters hahaha.

@Chrisinta Don't worry about it! If it isn't for you then we don't want to make you read it if you aren't going to enjoy it. I am going to start this once I have read Fathomless and Fearscape. Sorry that I am so behind! :(

Totally, if you don't like it then just it's perfectly okay to drop it. And Rachel, don't worry, start it when you have the time :) I'm reading it really slow myself, I guess because I didn't got really into it. I mean it's fine, but it's not the kind of book that makes me go to sleep at 4 a.m because I couldn't stop reading hahaha
