ABNA discussion

ABNA insulted me, questioning my honor by saying I took the plot of THE LEGEND OF VICTOR STANDISH from Disney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG - which to this day I have never seen. Like the cat said after having romanced the skunk: I think I've enjoyed about as much of this as I can stand. :-)

Yes, one of the Vine reviewers -- which says that he/she never read my entry. Yes, it is set in New Orleans and is supernatural -- but friends who have seen the cartoon told me that there is no resemblance at all between my story and the cartoon's. Thanks for the kind words. :-)

I had thought to enter another book set in New Orleans but reasoned the Vine reviewers would only accuse me of stealing the plot of THE ORIGINALS though my fantasy was written in the weeks following Katrina. Burn me once shame on you -- burn me twice, shame on me! :-)

Sorry I've been M.I.A. I actually won't be participating this year. As of January 1st I was signed with permuted press for my entire Z PLAN series, and possibly any books after that. Yay! (Happy dance). So good luck to everyone! I will be cheering you on!
