Matt knocks on Aidan's door. "Aidan?" He calls. The pain from the thieves' punches makes him fall, and he drags himself to sit beside the door. "Dang." He mumbles. He wipes the tears from his eyes, and tells himself to stop crying. *Look at yourself. Wimp.* He gets angry at himself, and it leaves no room for crying.

Aidan quickly opens the door he sees his friend sitting down clearly in pain, "Are you alright?" he asks taking a knee beside him, "Come on let's get you in." he says supporting his weight and helping him into the dorm room, "What happened to you?" he asks setting him down on the bed.

Matt wipes his eyes again, and takes a deep breath. "I just got mugged." He explains how the three thieves came out of the trees and took his sketch book. "That was my life, man!" Matt says. "I had drawings in them since I was just a kid..."

Aidan frowns deeply and calls the muggers a few choice words," I'm so sorry- I'll help you so everything we can to get them back." he assures his friend sitting beside him. He empathizes for him deeply- a huge portion of his life had just been torn out from under him. He hugs him," They won't get away with this."

"I don't know, Aidan." Matt says. "I think I should let them have it..." He recalls how the mugger became resentful that he'd had to steal for food. "They were poor. Very poor. He said he'd use my book for money for food..."

Aidan frowns,"Being poor isn't and evacuate okay? Trust me I'd know. If we have to we can buy it back." he says firmly.

Matt nods. "That's a good idea. I'll head over to my dorm and see how much I have..." He rises. "I wonder how I'll find them..."

Aidan follows," Take it easy, man." he says stepping in front of them,"You're hurt- where?"

Matt gestures to his stomach. "Mostly just here, and then my side." He holds his right side, and tries to take a step. Pain shoots up through his body. He grits his teeth, and tries not to show the pain.

Aidan knows better than that though," I promise we'll find your notebook. But you need to get some help." he says firmly," I'm helping you to the school's infirmary area."

Matt gives a halfhearted laugh. "For so long I avoided coming here... Now I have no choice."

Aidan gives a half smile," Serves you right for ditching without me." he says helping him up once more and into the hallway.

Matt can't help but chuckle. He allows Aidan to help him walk until they arrive at the infirmary.

Aidan walks in to his dorm room sluggishly. He felt horrible and confused and really really used. He hated that feeling- everyone always used him. He'd kissed her! He'd never kissed anyone and now he could hardly even remember his first kiss. He groans flopping on to his bed. He tried to hate her for doing it- he really did but he couldn't. She was so nice. And pretty. He takes out her number, why couldn't he stop thinking about her. He doesn't know what to feel now- he felt like he loved her. Why did he feel like that? He buries his face in his pillow having locked his door. He felt like crying- but he didn't cry. He groans again. He had promised to stay away from Alex- he had to then. He didn't want to be around her anyway only Ruby...right.

Matt knocks on Aidan's door. "Hey, man, open up!" He calls. "I wanna talk, bro."

Aidan groans into his pillow feeling horrible," No- go away." he mumbles.

"Aw, come on, Aidan." Matt bangs his head against the door. "I wanna talk about Ruby, man. She isn't what you think she is."

Aidan frowns. He didn't want to talk about her. But then again he did. Did he? Should he be mad that Matt was saying stuff about her. He thinks he is. He presses the pillow to his ears trying to drown out Matt's voice.

"Aidan." Matt says sternly. "I'm gonna wait out here till you let me in." He sits against the door. "I'll be here all day if I have to."

Aidan growls under his breath annoyed but knowing it's true. He gets up and opens the door then walks back over to his bed burying his head in the pillows again.

Matt enters, rolling his eyes at Aidan. "Ah, come on." He plops himself on his bed beside Aidan. "I tried to warn you."

"Shut up." he mumbles into the pillow. He wasn't supposed to listen to anything Matt said right? Ruby told him not to and she must be right. She wouldn't do anything to hurt him. Yes! She used you! He thinks but the thought disappears. He groans again. He just wanted to be alone.

"Dude. She's a permokinetic or whatever." He says sadly. "She effects your feelings. She made you love her." He cocks his head to the side. "You were probably attracted to her naturally, but the rest she did."

Was that true? How could- but. No that couldn't be true he really loved her when he was around her he felt it he knew that couldn't just happen. "Please just go away." Aidan says feeling distraught. He hated this so much.

"Aidan." Matt said cautiously. He wanted to help his friend, badly. "She. Is. Bad. News. She was flirting with me the other day! That should tell you something. Come on, man."

"Get out!" Aidan says more forcefully refusing to believe it. Everyone always used him for his powers or whatever else- that wasn't supposed to happen here. He starts feeling angry now. Why would Matt tell him all this? If it was true why hadn't he stopped him in the first place it didn't make sense. He squeezes his eyes shut.

"Aidan, I just want to help man..." Matt says, feeling the situation is lost. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"Leave. Now." Aidan threatens feeling his palms grow hot. He felt sick to his stomach.

Matt backs out of the door. "I'm sorry, man. I'm only trying to help." He shuts the door slowly. He walks away, feeling terrible.

Aidan hears him go and sighs staring at his ceiling losing track of time.

((Should he call ruby? Lol she needs to show up. I'm so bored))

Aidan moans pitifully, he couldn't go ten seconds without thinking about her. This sucked. He pulls out the number and dials it.

Ruby looks at her phone. She smiles and answers. "Hello?"

Aidan isn't sure what to say. The words blurt out of his mouth before he can stop them," Are you using me?" He feels bad asking but- no he had to know. She wouldn't lie to him.
