About half way through this one now. I think there seem to be too many characters to make the story easy to follow but the book is typical Dickens and a good story.

Not a quick read Joan, but worth the effort!

Yes Chris, there are many, many pages - some of the Dickens characters are quite amusing. Trying to challenge myself to read a few more classics during this year as well as the modern books.

Finished this book today. Have to say its not the best Dickens' book I have read but I am pleased I persevered. My favourite character was the dolls dressmaker - Jenny Wren.
