It is difficult to keep up with reading once the semester starts--or I should say, hard to keep at reading for pleasure. I am sure that I will have to resort to some shorter books as the year goes on--especially during the summer!



That said, if you haven't read _Wit_ yet by American playwright Margaret Edson, it's a short but very, very good read. (It should be: it won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1999.) It was assigned during my undergrad, but some some reason I never read it then. Kind of glad I missed that boat, as the impact it made in my adult life was more than it would have been back then. Prepare to laugh, pontificate, and maybe even cry a little.
