Oh man, I wish I could afford to do that!! I will buy the e-book as soon as it comes out though. This one is the new release I am most excited about this year. :)

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the length of the book?

Regarding the length, i'm thinking the story serves as a bridge into the latter half of the series; there's not a mystery either, the length suits the story for what it is.

Personally, I wish they were all "Nightbird" and "Bedlam" length! I know that's not realistic but the more time in Corbett's world the better!

I was totally disappointed when I saw how long it was. But I had so much fun reading it. And I have to think. It's better I got to read this short one other then waiting another couple years. I always ask my husband when I'm reading a Matthew Corbett book "do you wanna hear the scrap Matthew has gotten into"? I have to spread the fun.
