These two have to be my favorite couple from John Green's books, collectively. What about everyone else?

Same here. I read Paper towns, Looking for Alaska (even though Pudge and alaska aren't (weren't) a couple and I think Hazel and Gus are the best <3
I initially wasn't too fond of them, particularly in the first five or six chapters, but they eventually grew on me. By the end of the book, I was in tears.
I cried so hard during the prefuneral! I also cried pretty hard when Gus talked about lighting up like a Christmas tree. What was your favorite scene?
Happy Favorite scene when they kissed at the showSad are: When he says he lit up and he tries not to cry and the prefuneral especially Isaac's eulogy and when he died the first page when she said she called Isaac and he cursed God himself and said where are the god damned trophies when u needed them and then she realized she had noone else to call and it was the saddest thing. The only person I want to talk about Agustus waters death is Agustus waters.(yeah I memorized them X_X) and when she talks about the pain rating in ER and the last letter.
You?
There were, of course, many amazing moments, but my favorite part is when Augustus tells Hazel Grace that he is in love with her."I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you." ~Augustus Waters
I love this part so so so much.
Can I just deem the entire book as my favorite scene? I absolutely love John Green's writing style, and this book was so emotional, yet realistic. I loved every second of it!
I loved it too! Not quite as much as I liked The Fault in Our Stars, but that sets the standard pretty high. An Abundance of Katherines is supposedly really good, too.
Oh I hope so!! LFA made me cry at the end. John Green knows how to reach out to your heart. You read Pudge's essay in the end? That made me really sad inside but it did teach me lots of things too!
Yep, I read Pudge's essay. It was so depressing! And I like the casting except for Shailene Woodley playing Hazel. I don't know, she just doesn't seem like a good fit for the part… I do love the actor who's playing Gus, though! What about you?
Loved GUS! I'm gonna judge Shailene when I watch Divergent. If she is a good actor I'm okay with her played Hazel. But I'll watch the movie anyway
