Anyone watching or planning on watching Bitten on the SyFy channel, based on the series by Kelley Armstrong?

Didn't know there was a show based on the books, when's it on?

It comes on Mondays at 10 p E/9 p C.

Thanks, Danielle!! This is one series I've always wanted to read and never got around to it.

That's her 'Other World' series. I first read Dime Store Magic then Industrial Magic & really liked them, but they're in the middle. I went back & read them in order, but Bitten & the next few are different characters. I didn't like them as much. My daughter liked them more.

I haven't as far into the series yet. I think I prefer the werewolf stories although I did like Jaime's short story, so I'm interested in reading more about her.

I watched the first episode the other night. Sorry to say, I couldn't even finish watching the whole hour. I'll be passing on this one.

I'm watching! I didn't think the first episode was that impressive either, but maybe after watching the next two, you'd like it better? People say it got pretty good at the third episode!

I finally got the first one & watched half of it or so before getting interrupted. I can't say I'm in a rush to get back to it. The chick is too whiny. Cute, though. Not reason enough to keep watching unless it gets really good.

Maybe, I'll jump to the third episode and give it one more try.

I finished the first one. There's some hope. I started the second, but the DVR apparently was screwed up. It was the last half the first one, so I've set it to record the 2d again.

Nothing could ruin a relaxing evening more then a screwed up DVR! ; )

We have more shows around than I'll ever get to watching, so it's not a big deal.

Jim, if you liked the first one, then I think you'll like the next ones. It gets better.

I'm not fond of Laura Vanderwort (sp) as Elena, but I like the show overall. I especially like the guy who plays Clay. At first, I didn't think he looked enough like Clay, but he has him down pretty well.

I am pretty well sucked into this.

I wasn't too crazy about it the first episode or so but ended up getting addicted to it. I walk around on twitter with the #renewbitten tag when I posted thoughts about new episodes of the show lol. I love Laura Vandervort, but I'm not crazy about Clay's personality. The season finale did surprise me

I think he's more sympathetic in the show than the books. I do hope they renew!
