Khalid (agencyrulespk) | 38 comments Hello,

I have two editions of my book,1 Kindle and 1 ePub, that have different numbers. The Kindle edition has its ASIN number associated with it, but when I try to add the ISBN number for the ePub edition, it keeps getting deleted by a librarian.

The ISBN number is 9789699972027 for the ePub edition. I will also be adding another editions for Smashwords, which has its own ISBN number.

Can someone help me out with this?

Thank you!

Best Regards,

Khalid Muhammad

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments It seems that you've tried to add the ASIN & ISBN nos. to the same book/edition. GR doesn't work like that - for each separate published edition of a book there are separate records, all of which are then combined so that they link to each other as the same book (for instance, if you look at your book, there are two versions there, one being the alternate-cover edition of the Kindle edition).

I've added the ePub edition to help you along: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2.... You'll need to go in and add the cover plus published date and description info.

I hope this makes sense!

Khalid (agencyrulespk) | 38 comments One other question - when will my home page for Goodreads update with the default edition cover? Please see the image link.

I had already set the alternative cover edition as the default edition but it has not changed on my login so when I click to goto my book, I end up at the old cover.

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments Author pages are heavily cached, so it can take over a day to update on your author page. It has already updated for me, so I assume that it's already showing for most other users.
