Miralee Ferrell's Novels discussion
Welcome New Members! Please introduce yourself!
I am Elizabeth (Liz) Dent and looking forward to help promote Miralee Ferrell's books . I love her writing and I think other people will too.
I'm Miralee Ferrell, I live in the Pacific NW, am married, have two grown kids (both married) a darling granddaughter who will turn one year old in April, two dogs, two cats, and we live in the country. My 8th novel (Christian fiction) releases Feb 1., and I'm very excited, as it's the 2nd in my new series. So far I've written (and traditionally published) 2 women's contemporary novels, 4 books in the Love Finds You line of romances, and two books in the new Love Blossoms in Oregon series, 1880s historical romance, with the third releasing Oct 1, this year. I'm excited to get to chat with readers here and answer questions in the various threads you decide to start. God bless!
I'm Sarah Snider, and I live in rural eastern Ohio. I am a lifelong bibliophile, and I enjoy writing book reviews. I love Miralee's novels and look forward to discussing them here and helping to promote her fabulous work!
I'm Wanda and I live in Eastern North Carolina. Single, no kids but a family I love to pieces! My biggest hobby and pleasure is reading. I love all kinds of genres but my heart has always been in historical fiction, westerns and cowboys are the BEST! I'm a hopeless animal lover, love of butterflies, honeysuckle and anything with coconut. I'm SO glad to be here and look forward to getting to know all of you. :)
Hi, I'm Patty, and I live in South Central Washington State. I love reading Christian novels, especially period novels. I am especially fond of Miralee Ferrell's writings. I love the way she draws you into her books, so that you feel you are part of the setting, the culture. Her books are hard to put down once you pick them up!
I'm Carole Jarvis and I live just south of Atlanta. I've been an avid reader since discovering the Bobbsey Twins as a child, a church pianist for 50 years, and I love cats like Joy - but I hate coconut (sorry, Wanda!).I enjoy Christian fiction very much - especially contemporary and historical drama/romance. Anything but suspense, sci-fi, and fantasy. It's good to be here with all of you!
Its wonderful meeting everyone!
I live in KS, and have been a avid reader all of my life. I have always read more than one book at a time, and have memories doing this as a child as well. =)
I enjoy romance books including Christian fiction.

Melissa, what part of Kansas do you live in? Back in the early 70s, I spent two years in graduate school in Hays and went to church in Russell. Was terribly homesick and cried a lot that first year, but eventually grew to love it.

Carole, I live in Wichita, but I grew up on a Farm near here. I consider myself a Farmers Daughter. =)
My family raised Cattle, milo, corn, soybeans and wheat when I was growing up.
Where did you live before Hays?

It's so nice to see so many familiar faces. One I haven't seen (or talked to) in a long time is Patty! Great to see you here. Patty set up a book signing and chat in her hometown for me in the early part of my writing career for one of my first books, and hosted me in her home. It was lovely!
HI everyone!! Glad to see so many people joining! Bringing all book lovers together!I am Tonya, living in the Pacific NW. We have four children, one serving in the Navy, the other three living at home. I love to read and chat A LOT!! Looking forward to sharing our love of reading!
Hello, my name is Sarah. I live in Bingen, Washington and I'm 32 years old. I have read all of Miralee's books and loved earth one of them!
Patty, I love period books also. And you already know Miralee personally, having hosted her in your home! Which book was the signing for?Wow, we have several Pacific NW residents here - Miralee, Patty, Tonya and Sarah, if I'm not mistaken. Have any of you met, besides Miralee and Patty?
Sarah wrote: "I use to go to church with Miralee"Now I bet you could share some interesting tidbits with us, Sarah! Did you know her before she started writing fiction?
Sarah wrote: "She's still the same, fame hasn't gone to her head...LOL"That's good to know, Sarah . . . Although I pretty much sensed that already! And how nice to live close to her, Tonya.
The only author who I know personally is Dale Cramer, who goes to my church. I love talking books with him!
Sarah, sweetie, I'm SO glad you joined us! Sarah was one of my special people who I loved to hug at church. She's also read several of my books ahead of time and been ready with reviews, and at one time, she helped me stay organized on my publicity 'stuff'. Love you, Sarah!
Hi, I'm Cindi. I live in western Pennsylvania and love Christian fiction.I was blessed to have been introduced to Miralee's writing when her book, Blowing on Dandelions, came out. It is such a wonderful novel. I look forward to reading her upcoming book, Wishing on Buttercups, as well as reading the other books that she has written.
