Any Ideas?

I know I'm going to do a contest every month or so with either a poem, short story or something else. Sometimes it'll have themes, other times it won't.

Yeah, probably.

Andrea (alexandra14) maybe a contest about who write the craziest thing, maybe an short story?

Courtney Maybe the contests could be monthly and would correspond to the monthly reading section. Example: April's book is 'The Fault in Our Stars' so the challenge could be to write something from a character's point of view (a poem, story, Hazel's book report, etc.) or something relevant such as a newspaper article or a drawing of one of the characters.
I don't know if that falls too close to 'fan fiction' or if that's even a problem.

That would be fan fiction. I like the idea, but if you haven't read the book yet (like I haven't read The Fault in Our Stars), it wouldn't really be possible to write something from a character's POV. Also, some people aren't good at getting into the POV of a character that isn't theirs. I sometimes have trouble with it myself.

But it is a good idea.

Elise (jewessaloover) | 9 comments I think that you should do seasonal poems/month poems that relate to the month. You could also do death/love poems, those are easier for most people

Iesha (In east shade house at...) (emberblue) | 140 comments Or we can do a weekly contest where every is required to do some. Than there the 'At the Moment' contest where you write something in one day or hour and see who has the better idea.
