Wondermark is an interesting comic where the art is 19th century illustrations with dialog or descriptions added. The jokes and context created is of a more modern slant, and the contrast with the art
ands to the impact and humor.

Order doesn't really matter, so in leu of the first comic here's a fun one a friend brought my attention to a while back:

The nature of the strip makes it very hit or miss, but random reading usually leads me to some laughs.

As with the above strip I always enjoy a good superhero joke. Here's another.

This one amuses me endlessly for some reason.

Kayleigh | 195 comments I'm really enjoying this one so far. It's definitely hit or miss, but most of the jokes have been funny or clever enough to keep me interested.

This one is hilarious.

Glad you like. Went back to start at the beginning myself and I'm likewise enjoying it overall. The humor is just the right amount of twisted.

The author's pretty imaginative too - I like the one's like this where he plays around with panel space, etc.

lol. Hadn't see that yet. It's fantastic.

Nicole (radiantserenechaos) | 11 comments Yeah, hit or miss is the perfect why to describe it. I've only read through about 10 of them so far. Most have been misses, but there have been a few hits that make the misses worth reading through. This seems like a perfect time filler, something to read through while waiting in line or during a 5 minute break.

I found this one amusing only because what he's talking about for the first four panels already exists in the form of a robot building competition/game/thing, and it's consumed the past five weeks of my life. ;)

Totally. Small does of amusement is definitely my preferred consumption method for this comic.

That'a awesome! (both the comic and the robotics competition) I did some one day team problem solving competitions in school and some puzzle hunts as an adult but nothing like that. Looks like a lot of fun. You enjoying it?

Nicole (radiantserenechaos) | 11 comments Oh, it's amazing. Some of the work makes you want to pull your hair out, and you have absolutely no social life for 6 weeks, but the people involved (students and mentors) are awesome and it teaches such a wide variety of important things that the hard work is undoubtedly worth it.

This comic made me chuckle, but the blog post that went with it is absolute gold. I find the Olympics rather boring myself. I would definitely be more interested if there were supervillains involved.
