Veronica enters her dorm room shutting the door firmly. She couldn't believe Alex would do that to her. Why had she even tried? She'd just do what she did last year and focus on her studies. She takes a breath and glances at the clock- it was late and tomorrow was the first day of school. She goes up to the ballet bar in her room and stretches a little to relax before plopping down face first in bed.

Alex knocks on the door. "V..." She calls softly. "I'm really sorry. Please just open the door."

Veronica flips the lock on the door with her telekinesis making sure it's firmly locked and covers her head with her pillow. She was normally a very forgiving person and she knew she couldn't stay mad at her forever.

"Veronica! Open the door!" She knocks on the door again. "Don't make me come in there."

Veronica frowns, "Go to sleep Alex!" she calls her voice muffled through the pillow.

"Not until you let me in!" Alex won't stop knocking on the door. "Or I'll pick the lock!"

Veronica groans tightening the pillow to her ears but is unable to get rid off the sound of knocking. "Fine." she says flipping the lock with her mind. She pulls the covers over her head.

Alex opens the door, and closes it quietly. "Listen to me, V." Alex says to the bed. She stays close to the door. "Please just talk to me."

Veronica closes her eyes for a moment. She wasn't totally unreasonable. She told herself she had the right to be upset but pulled the covers off of her head. "I'm listening."

"Thanks." She shuffles around. "Look, I have a hard time controlling my anger. That's part of the reason I keep getting in trouble." She sighs. "I swear, I never meant to hurt you. I'm so, so sorry, V."

She looks up at her for a moment and knows that she's being sincere. She did want to forgive her- she'd been her only real friend since she'd been here. "It's alright. I understand, we've all got our issues." Roni says, "I'm glad it was me and not Savannah or someone else who would've gotten you kicked out." she says. "But you're gonna have to do something for me." she says sitting up.

Alex sighs with relief. She looks up. "Anything you want, V." She gives half a smile.

"If I'm going to be hanging out with you, you're going to have to teach me how to swim." Roni says cracking a half smile.

Alex's eyes widen. She smiles widely. "Of course! We can start after school if the weather is okay."

Roni smiles," Good- that way if i ever get pushed into a lake again I can swim back to shore and kick your butt." she teases. "It's getting late though- you should get to sleep Alex. First day and all."

Alex laughs. "Don't bet on it." She winks and opens the door. "G'night V." She smiles and walks out the door, closing it softly.

"Good night."
Roni looks after her and smiles before covering herself back up and putting her head on the pillow. It would be much easier to sleep now. She yawns and is soon sound asleep.

Alex leans against the wall. She had done her part, now she waits for V. "Wonder where Matt went." She says out loud.

Veronica walks in to her room with Alex's cousin in row," Hey Alex."

"Yo! There you--" She stops as Ruby appears. "Hey Andy!" She says sweetly. "R.J." Alex sneers.

Roni looks between the two," Un- I got the paint." she says lifting it.

Alex laughs. "Okay then, lets get started. I already gutted the room, so we can start painting. I thought you said the guys were helping?" Ruby smiles at the last comment. "I think I'll stick around then!"

Roni smiles," Well I would have asked but Matt ran off and I got the feeling he wanted to be alone. And Aidan- that would be awkward to ask- I don't know him as well as you." She glares a little at Ruby. She still couldn't believe she'd tried for Matt.

Alex growls. "Im not talking to him; we can do it on our own. Get in here Ruby." She looks at Roni. "Whats up, V? You look like you could kill something."

"Me?" Roni asks sweetly, "Nope- why aren't you talking to Aidan?" she asks curiously keeping an eye on Ruby as she wanders about her room. She hoped she didn't break anything. Not that there was much to break- her room was rather simple.

((I gutted the room, theres nothing to break. lol))

Alex sighs. "He was with Eva today." She stares at her. "Not convincing, whats up?" She asks again when Ruby wasn't within earshot.

((Lol well she had to move the stuff and put it somewhere))
Roni wonders why it's such a big deal that Aidan was with Eva- especially since Alex liked Matt. "I really shouldn't say anything- it's none of my business." Roni says, she knew Alex had a hard time controlling her anger and she really didn't want her to find out Ruby had tried for Matt.!

Alex sighs. "Fine. Lets get to work." She hands Roni and Ruby a paintbrush. Ruby looks at it. "Uh no. If theres no guys, Im out." She tosses the brush back and runs off.

((HAHA WHY?!))

Roni looks relieved,"Sorry but I really don't like your cousin- I mean I would mind so much if she hadn't been flirting with M-" Roni freezes eyes wide," never mind."

((SO THE BATTLE CAN BEGIN!!))

Alex stops painting. "She WHAT!?!" She turns to face Roni.

Roni bites her lip, hard. "Um- uh-" she flips the switch to lock her door with her telekinesis so she can't run out after Ruby,"She gave Matt her number and was trying to flirt with him." Roni says quickly.

Alex screams with anger. "I SWEAR to God, I'm gonna KILL that--" She curses loudly. She stops. "How did Matt take it?"

Roni looks at her wide eyed," He was embarrassed- he clearly was nervous and didn't want to be around ember. There's nothing to get upset about."

Alex sighs. "You're right. I know he's gonna pick her though." She sobs, just a little, and starts painting again.

Roni frowns," Alex!" she says going over and moving the paintbrush away with her mind. She grabs her friends shoulders,"He's not going to choose her!" she says firmly,"Why would he?"

Alex laughs at her friends blindness. "She's friggin famous! She always looks perfect. And as if THAT wasn't good enough, her power makes EVERYONE like her! All guys fall in love with her!" She cries out in despair. "It's hopeless for me."

"Who cares?" Roni says firmly," Matt doesn't like you because your famous or look perfect- he likes you because he likes you. Just trust him." she says with a smile. And if he doesn't make the right decision- I'll murder him. she leaves the thought unspoken.

Alex bites her lip. "Okay..." She says,immediately bouncing back up. "Now lets get this room done!"

Roni smiles a little," Alright." she grabs her paintbrush and begins working. She's glad she didn't wear nice clothes because she tends to make a mess and the paint drips a lot on her when she's working on higher parts. She runs her cheek accidentally smudging blue paint along her face as she does.

Alex laughs. "You're blushing blue, V." She wipes the paint off with a rag. Within two hours, the room is painted. Alex looks around, satesfied.

Roni smiles," This looks awesome." she says happily.
