Same here. I absolutely loved the movies, but I just couldn't get into the books. Which actually rarely happens to me. It's not often that I start a book that I don't like.

Shock!! Horror!! People that don't like Lord of the Rings (the book)....my whole universe is collapsing!

its just rather long winded and stuff, that and Dan browns books r better on film then the books and i never say a film is better then a book lol
