I personally love to read with music because it helps set up the background music that is playing to the movie going on in my head!

So do i, like when there's fighting scenes I think of some rock songs that could totally go with that moment.
Me too! People are like how can you read with music playing and I am just thinking it is just like watching a movie with background music playing! It's the exact same thing!
Really I loose attention when I do that but I can relate stories to songs sometimes
Oh. That happens to me sometimes because I will have more in my mind and so I just sing along to the music and then I can't read.
That does happen some times I'll be reading but then a song I like comes on and I pay more attention to the music.
Yeah! I usually read with music when I just really need to block everything out for a whole or I'm in one of the mood stages.
Yes! Listening to music and just reading are enough to kme my day come out of a bad mood if I am having a bad day!
Without Music. If I read with music the music had to be really low. But if it's too loud I start dancing and well my book ends up on my bed while I dance
Same! It completely distracts me because I will start singing and lose focus on the book. Unless the music is extremely soft and relaxing!
I can only really read without or I get too distracted, although sometimes I do listen to non-lyrical pieces to help with the mood if I feel like it.
I agree. Unless it's a book so good nothing can distract me
I love reading and listening to music at the same time because when I have earbuds in it blocks out all of the distractions, so I get more reading done. Also, to me music just makes everything better.
I love reading and listening to music, but that could simply be because as an anime fan, I am used to reading the subtitles whilst also listening to the voices and sounds of the animation. It really depends on what you prefer. Some people can be easily distracted and therefore, would rather not listen to music when reading, but I believe it adds to the effect and tension of what you are reading, depending on the type of music you are listening to. For example, I wouldn't go and listen to some boppy pop song when reading 'Lord of the Rings'.
