I was completely enthralled in the series...until it came to a crashing end. The ending was incredibly lame, kinda ruined my connection with it.

I HATED THE ENDING. OH MY GOSH, I CRIED SO HARD. I MEAN I LOVED ELIZABETH AND TEDDY BUT EVERYTHING WITH DIANA AND HENRY MADE ME CRY SO HARD. LIKE WTF?
I kind of think that the ending worked. At first I was really upset because I felt that Diana definitely should have been with Henry but after a while I realized that there happiness would not have lasted. Henry always desired something that he could not have. I think the first year or two after Diana and Henry were married would be a great but after that they would both get bored. I loved Diana because she was after adventure and in that time she wouldn't have been able to get adventure if she was tied down to a man. If Henry really wanted Diana, he should have broken off his wedding to Penelope. Sure there would have been consequences. They would be talked about and not respected as much in their social circles but if it was true love that should have been enough. I just think that if he wasn't able to stand up to his father or the press how would they get through tough times in their marriage.
