Nothing yet but the way I figured it is if the book comes out this year either late summer / early fall we will hear about it at least by March. If we have not heard anything then by then my guess is the last book will be out late summer/early fall 2011

I notice they are doing quite a bit of promoting of special edition book 3 and Ergaon Guide to Alegasie which makes me question if it would come out this year. One would think if the book was going to be out this year they would be completely focused on its promotion. we shall see

Honestly guys (and gals), I highly doubt that the book will come out this year. If the release date was scheduled for this year, there certainly would have been something released. Bookstores are for sure going to have it availabel for pre-order long before the actual release date. My guess for the release date is late Spring/Summer 2011 because the same basic premise for why the release date probably won't be 2010 will probably apply to early 2011.

I doubt it he sent out a recent newsletter said he is still hard at work on it. So its not even completed yet. I image it would take a month or two to edit and make changes. I think Sarah is most likely right. I think we will hear more this fall or early 2011
what i dont get is why it took him so ong to write the new book. cuz he said at the end of brisingr that after the finishing the book he found that it was too long. well all he had to really do was break the book into two from the sound of his letter. either he was bullshitting or he had like a MAJOR MAJOR change of heart and changed the whole story
In his newsletter he said that he has added some scenes that he did not original plan to be in the book. Here is a snippet from his newsletter, came out end of May.“Since the New Year, I've been working with renewed determination to finish the manuscript of Book Four. The story is unfolding much as I've always imagined, but, as usual, I find myself adding scenes I hadn't anticipated when I plotted out the book. Although it's taking me longer than I'd hoped to get my vision on the page, I think it's worth it. This is going to be the most exciting and action-packed book of the entire series.”
