Storybrooke is a quiet little town in Maine inhabited by storybook characters. Ruled by Regina Mills, the Evil Queen, nothing changed until twenty-eight years passed and Emma Swan, the daughter of Snow White, broke the curse.

People in Storybrooke were trapped in their lives by the curse. Everyone created their own unhappiness, and couldn’t stop until it was broken. When the curse broke, they became caught between two lives - their storybook life back home, and their ordinary life in Storybrooke. And with magic back in town but no way to go back home, the stakes are as high as ever.
