Robinson Crawford unbelievable to see how many people have read and enjoyed this book. mary wattenberg was my great aunt - her sister anna was my maternal grandmother.

it's even more interesting to read when every close call that the family has is a chance for someone to prevent me from existing. i don't think mary could have ever imagined having all of these people commenting publicly on her teenage diary. thanks to all for your input.

karen walmsley This book was so good,it was hard to put down. The things she saw in the ghetto and prison at such a young age yet she had so much compassion for others.when she felt guilty for having eaten when the little girl asked her for food, she was truly remarkable young lady. You must be so proud of may and her sister .
