Euphoria is the safest place you could possibly be. There is no where left that they have not become a prominent aspect of. We know so much about them, but at the same time, we do not. They are a threat of the greatest degree, and we are constantly researching them. We have brave soldiers going on countless explorations to find the information we so desire, but fret not. We are safe behind these walls, and that is all that matters.

The world has been plagued with an unexplained outbreak of some kind. People became things, and began to eat others. People were pushed back for many years, humans suddenly becoming an endangered species, much to the irony of the fate of the endangered animals on the list. This, however, was becoming worse. Populations dwindled drastically and nations crumbled. Dramatic, but true.

We did find a way to beat it, at least for the time being. A wall, is what it is. The human race is hidden behind a wall of great impenetrability, safe and snug. Ensconced in the walls, we developed our government based on the old ones, a mesh of heads and committees. We were able to begin again, to become the perfect haven.

The many heads of the world have been decimated to a single head of decisions. S/he is backed by a committee of leaders, all of which oversee some sort of section of Euphoria

The President still holds the same job that s/he had before. S/he's in charge of governing the remainder of humanity and producing solutions to the seemingly trivial problems of the people. To be precise, s/he doesn't hold all the power, but enough that s/he needs to be balance out by a committee of heads.

The president leads the executive branch of the federal government and is the commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces. The person in this position is the leader of the country which has the largest economy and the largest military, with command authority over the largest active nuclear arsenal. The president is frequently described as the most powerful person in the world

[ Cᴏᴍᴍɪᴛᴛᴇᴇ ]

The committee is comprised of secular and religious heads. While there is no set religion, there is the set idea of religion and is thus headed by two leaders. The two of them preside over sectioned off areas of religious practices, which are then divided further by lower heads. Those leader that are under the two are not a part of the committee, but may still bring up issues that need to be discussed. As for the secular portion of the committee, they stand over Industry, Nutrition, and Education.

Industry has their work in making the commodities of today, which isn't uncommon for most people to be in possession of. All household items, work place appliances, and conventional vehicles are made by those in Industry. To be designated as part of the Industry is to provide for all. Or, at least that's how the saying goes.
