The book shows that this system no longer works and clearly leads to revolts. The people in the story thought that by separating the community into factions and themselves from the outside world they could avoid the war, pain and suffering, but in the end they couldn't avoid anything. Unfortunately, this says a lot about human nature.
True that! And this also leads to a whoooole lot of struggle between these factions as they were misjudged, for example i would be an amity but it wouldn't mean that i would like to be ignorant to the things that go on around me just because i live outside those walls, i would be someone that although follows the pleasures that the amity brings forth to the emotions... I would still like to learn about what goes on, what us wrong to lend a aiding hand, not be cataloged by what i would chose to follow...... That is all thanks
Well, with what you said Jean, I kind of agreed and kind of not. It is important and convinient to know what goes around but as far of being involved, no thanks! I believe that if being in different factions, for instance taking amity, it is sort of great to know about what is going on without actually being affected. For the other factions it's a darn for them but I think each faction should be efficient in a number of necessary thing without it being their strongest characteristic.
