Hannah (hansrox) | 140 comments I just watched the trailer! Omg I'm so excited!!!

onceuponatimeareview | 204 comments I know right. There was one thing that I don't like.

Jaylah I watched the trailer! not the teaser the real deal! its awesome! Ansel and Shai are adorable. Shansel > Sheo . I have the trailer link on my fandom on instagram! @Fangirling_For_Eternity but its already on YouTube! its aweaome!

Maren K (mkgunning) | 5 comments I absolutely ADORE Ansel and Shai and Nat and John and everyone but I have to admit I'm not completely down with the casting yet. Shai is wayyyy too pretty to be Hazel, and Ansel (though COMPLETELY ADORABLE) lacks the chiseled-cheekbones-smoky-voice thing. And Nat, though possibly one of the Most Awesome People Ever, looks nothing like Isaac. I'm just afraid that all these amazing, talented, wonderful people can't match the characters as I visualize them in my mind.

Sigh. The angst of having a book turned into a movie.

A H Loved the trailer.....awesome background music, loved that they took the quote "You don't get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you do have some say......" LOVE that quote SOOOO much!!!!! Like the casting though don't love it.....was expecting a better Augustus Waters. I mean, Ansel is cute, and adorable, but not perfect, like Augustus....

Connie | 9 comments i was hoping Logan Lerman casting for Augustus...

Totally agree!

Alex I LOVE this trailer so so much, I seriously cannot wait for this damn movie to come out. The trailer gets me to tears every time... And I think Ansel is absolutely brilliant for Gus tbh

Lilac | 10 comments I reaaaalllly hope the movie turns out better than the book.

Christine Hatfield (christinesbookshelves) | 36 comments When I first read the book I was so shocked because the girl in the book was like me because she was on oxygen and she had an oxygen tank

Connie (proseandconnie) I watched the movie on Thursday at the Night Before Our Stars event! :D
It didn't stick to the book as faithfully as I'd hoped, but it was pretty good. I like the soundtrack, and the cast exceeded my expectations. Has anyone else watched so we can fangirl? ;)

A H A-M-A-Z-I-N-G movie!!

Sarah (sarahlittlecornerforbooks) Beautiful that's all

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

I loved this beautiful metaphorical story and the film portrayed it perfectly

Daniel (pickyreader1) | 19 comments It stayed true to the story pretty well, and Shailene and Ansel were terrific. So were Hazel's parents, actually.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes her mom and dad were perfect

Julia Wang (liamalfoy) | 93 comments I haven't seen the movie, but I really want to!

Scout (moonofmylife) | 25 comments The movie was really good but the whole time in the cinema, I couldn't help but thinking that they were still siblings. I mean, they kinda look alike lol.

Julia Wang (liamalfoy) | 93 comments Oh. I still haven't seen it yet :(

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

I think they did really really well in the movie. It was totally better than the Divergent movie because it followed the book more efficiently but book wise, they are both AMAZING!!

message 31: by Cassidie (new)

Cassidie (cassidiejhones) | 12 comments I think if was the best YA adaptation of 2014 so far (I haven't seen the Maze Runner yet). I loved the speech bubbles and Shailene was so much better as Hazel than as Tris in my opinion.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

@Cassidie so true.

Julia Wang (liamalfoy) | 93 comments STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET... :'(

FINALLY watched this...three days before Christmas, terrible idea btw. I really liked it; it was a great adaptation of the book!

Heather The Only Part I didn't like was (view spoiler) and I also didn't like the fact that they didn't use my favorite quote!
