Helloooo people.

So, organization of challenges and stuff! How do you want to do it? Monthly or weekly or somewhere in between?

Also, I made a logo for the group! It's kinda crappy; I could make a better one but it's really late here and I am lazy:

Monthly sounds good. But we could have special ones for holidays (like Valentine's Day and Christmas) and maybe some that don't have a time constraint, that you can start/end whenever you want?

I do have an idea for a general February one (not a Valentine's Day-themed one, though). It involves flags. It's kind of complicated. Do you mind if I tell you tomorrow? I'm about to go to sleep. :p

Thanks! :) I'll probably be compulsively redesigning and changing the logo every couple of days until I can find one that really sticks, if that's okay with you guys! :p

Also, I uploaded a temporary February-themed banner until we can the whole favorite-book thing done! How does it look? :)

@Heather: Hm ... how could we make it different? There really isn't anything you could change except the requirements for each square.

for valentines day we could do like a romance theme and read the most books with it

Ooh, we could make a list of Valentine's Day-related stuff! Like 1. A book with a red cover, 2. A contemporary romance book, and so on, and whoever finishes the most wins? We could even make it a grid like the bookish blocks challenge? :o

Then again what would we give as prizes??

invited all of my friends. i'm thinking maybe adding a couple more challenges and trying to get people more involved in the monthly read.

also, i really liked the idea for the complete the challenge series but i feel like people are more likely to join a challenge that isn't such a strict time limit. like a lot of people, i have a bunch of series to read and probably couldn't finish them all in a couple months. just a thought

That's probably not a bad idea. Even if it's as simple as the ABC challenge. Sometimes simple can be better. Do you have any challenge ideas?

Well I was actually thinking of some partner challenges. Like blind date, copy cat or pick it for me
