The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices discussion

Okay so the cast. What're your thoughts? On Lily, Jamie, Robert, Kevin, Jemima, Godfrey, etc.

Lily Collins- I think that this was an good casting choice for Clary for many different reasons.
Jamie- I thought that this was an iffy choice for Jace. Though his acting was mediocre he lacked Jace's description. But I still like him better than Dominic Sherwood...
Robert- I personally liked this choice for Simon. Although his appearance isn't exactly like the books his acting was alright.
Kevin- I loved Kevin for the choice of Alec. It was a fitting description and I liked his acting.
Jemima- This wasn't particularly my favorite choice but it wasn't terrible.
Godfrey- Godfrey rocked at playing Magnus. Magnus is my favorite character and I think his appearance fit Magnus perfectly.
These are just my opinions, feel free to disagree.:)

Lily Collins- I think she is absolutely gorgeous! But pictured Clary a little more goofy.
Jamie- I also believe they could have done better on casting Jace. Jamie was no where close to Jace's physical description and he seemed very tense in most of the movie where Jace is usually relaxed in his confidence. I feel that alex pettyfer looking as he did in beastly or (perfect choice) a younger Jensen Ackles would've been a better choice.
Robert- His acting was fine but I felt he was very handsome which wasn't Simon's character.
Kevin- One of the better casting choices.
Jemima- I beleived she was an okay choice. Isabelle should've been a little more bubbly.
Godfrey- Probably the best book to movie translation when it comes to characters.

You're totally right about Godfrey. A younger Jensen Ackles would've been a great fit for Jace!

I agree with all of you. XD I loved Lily Collins. Do you think Kat's going to do a better job of playing her... I like the new Magnus actor better in Glee...LOL. You guys are hilarious to listen too. (Well read! XP))
