I like her writing sometimes.... I loved the host and liked Twilight when I first read it but then I found Sooo many other good books and realized there was better out there...I'm with you Rachel on this whole Midnight Sun/Host Sequel thing to, I've waited and waited and nothing!!
I enjoyed the Twilight series and The Host. I think she came up with an amazing story in both cases. Both very unique and creative! Of course since then, there have been a gazillion vampire and werewolf books! Then Angels, Fairies, and even Mermaids :) I think Stephenie Meyers started a whole wave of fantasy fiction. (Or simply the popularity of it) What do y'all think?

That's the thing.. we are waiting forever....
She probably won't release another book but she should quit promising things if she's not going to do it
I have to say that Twilight was not a good series at all..... I read it in college with all my friends and liked it, but after some time I re-read it and started to see just how basic the story was... Love stories for me are just a little to shallow...I was something with more going on... So, I was really timid when deciding to read The Host. But, I have it a go...and I LOVED IT!! It was so well done! There is so much more to the story than just a love story, and the characters are so much more enjoyable than crappy Bella and Edward! They movie for sure made it stupid...but the book was wonderful! I finished it a few months ago, and already am ready to read it again!! I just wish more people knew about it...but after Twilight I think Meyers lost a lot of potential readers, so The Host is not getting the recognition it deserves.....
