what is your opinion on what we should do in the iraq war? Should we leave now, leave slowly, or stay in until the war is "won"?

frankly, i think it's dumb that we're still there at all. bush shouldn't be sending more people in, he should be withrdrawing them instead.

I have to agree with Jamie. However, recently my cousin, who just got back from serving in baghdad for a year, said that if we were to leave right away Iraq would fall apart. He also said that the surge was helping security in Baghdad. That made me stop and think. I really think that we should not withdrawl all at once in order to save the Iraqis. Instead I believe that we should slowly take them out within about a year or two. I also think that we should have a government stability in Iraq. Meaning that we would help them to better establish their government and start rebuilding the country. By establishing a better relationship with Iraq we can in truth help them. (Sorry I went on a little bit. Haha!)

i think we should replace the miltary with "peace troops" or something. like instead of all those home improvement shows or whatever, we should send all of them to go help rebuild the country and remodel all the crappy houses and the UN would be right there helping and stuff.
