How did I miss that this was a Christmas book? I saw the scary license plate, but somehow the gingerbread man and subtitle about Christmasland didn't register until I actually started reading. LOL!Is anyone else reading the limited edition copy published by William Morrow? I'm just curious if there are all of these cool illustrations in the other editions?
I bought this on my kindle but half the chapters end mid-sentence! Wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I spoke with someone on Amazon and said that there should be an update soon, so patiently waiting...

But, I've never heard of that happening before with Amazon's Kindle OR Barnes & Nobles' nook.
This is deliberate. A lot of the chapters in this book end mid sentence and the title of the following chapter completes the sentence.

Maina: Could this be what you're experiencing? For instance, at the end of page 20 (in my version) the chapter ends "She walked around the corner on unsteady legs and looked at the walk-up window of" and then the next chapter begins with "Terry's Primo Subs"
Also - OHMYGOD - I don't know how I missed this, but apparently, Joe Hill's dad is... STEPHEN KING.As in THE Stephen King.
Ha, thanks! I would have never figured that out! And now that I feel like an idiot, I will start reading...
WHOA! Hey, you guys! Read the book all the way to the end! *wink, nudge* The WHOLE THING! Fan-freaking-tastic!My Review
I knew I was going to like this one when I got duped at the very beginning. I'm about 200 pages in and loving it...I've never actually read a Stephen King book, I own a few just haven't gotten to them yet. Having a hard time putting this down!
Finally finished! I picked this up every second I could and couldn't wait to get home to read it. It gave me nightmares at times and more than once I didn't know if I had actually read the book or had nightmares about it. This is my first Joe Hill book and I will most definitely be reading others!
