Red (littleredreader) For all the build up of the first two books, the third was lacking for me. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it and still loved the series overall. I just feel like the third skipped around a lot and lacked the consistency of the first two in how the story was told. Another thing for me, I felt like the ending was rushed leaving it a little anticlimactic for me. I felt like we took all this time to build up the story (hell, three books worth) and the ending was so rushed and it was like BAM! Story is over. For such a big story, I was expecting a big finish and felt like it fell short. Maybe this could have been solved if the story was a little longer and the significant parts that were rushed were a bit more developed. Again, even though I did not enjoy Emerald Green as much as the first two, I still loved the series and even for the most part enjoyed Emerald Green (I just didn't feel the same passion with it as the first two).
