Beta Reader Group discussion

Looking for a few readers to read my book, Boney. It has about 4500 words. It's a young adventure story, about a young boy David and his friends who meet a strange "little kid".
No violence, need feedback on story length, not sure if ending is too abrupt ( thinking of sequel).
