What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This book is about a girl and her father that live in a magical theater, where the characters from books and stories are real (in the theater anyway) and perform their stories every night. There is a book that comes up missing - a magic tome that contains all of the fiction characters stories, sending the girl on a quest to get the book back before the theater disappears permanently. Sound familiar to anyone? I hope so...
