So I have something I want to bring up for discussion, something that has been rolling around in my mind for a while now.So first off it started with me wondering if I was saved, again, and then it turned into examining the word more closely and finding answers to some of the questions that had come up in my mind.
So one of the questions that I have that I can't seem to find a answer for is this: When we are saved we have God's righteousness upon us, the bible says in Romans 3:22 "Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ, unto all and upon all them that believe" and in another verse "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption." Now I know that God is one person and all and I kinda grasp the trinity but my question is this: When we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is it his righteousness or God the father's that is imputed to us? Or is it just "God" like Romans 3:22 says for God is one? I'm really confused about this and would appreciate any help!
Why do I have more of a visualization of Jesus. That fills my mind, yet not God. He is more of a light to me. The Great I AM. And the Holy Ghost is a performer-like to me. Why do I have these stereotypes?
I do believe even though I do not understand at times. They say this in the Bible I think. Just believe. God does not want us to worry about asking why> or trying to find the reason. W are to believe, that I do know.Yes He is the I am. Thank you Jerrel. I will pray on this tonight.
Hmm... Strange I never saw this til now. Maybe I wasn't supposed to. I've actually been private messaging a person on this matter and we have had a lively discussion Lol. Thanks so much for Jerrel for he is exactly right!!! So right!!
Just let me make sure y'all know this is completely normal that its hard to understand for it was always hard for me- If you seek after the Lord as y'all are I see(; He will make himself and His word more and more understandable to you.
Okay- yes 1 God three forms.
As an illustration let's say I am looking across the ocean- So wide and far I cannot see it all from where I stand this is God so deep and wide one couldn't understand for God is everywhere, all knowing, all the time. Now let's see, if I took a glass and filled it with some of that ocean water - that is Jesus, same water just in a form I can hold. Now if I took some more of that same ocean water and boiled it, the steam represents the Holy Ghost. All one but in three forms. God was so holy and righteous that he couldn't look upon us so he put himself in the form of the man and came down to save us. Same God three forms. (: I'll send another reference and a song to see if that may explain better. (: Hoped this will help some :D

Why do I have these stere..."Hi Tina! Maybe you have this visualization because we think of Jesus as a human. People often draw and paint pictures of Jesus, and there is a baby Jesus in nativity scenes. We find it easier to visualize Jesus, rather than the Father, because we know that Jesus was a human (while still God)- just like us. The Father is sooo BIG that it's hard to even take it in sometimes.
Jesus is not higher than God. Jesus is Father's Son. And as he says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." He is saying that without Him (Jesus), we could not pray to the Father with the freedom that we have now. In the Old Testament, the priests made sacrifices before they could commune with God. "...For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness." (Hebrews 9:22) But since Jesus became our sacrifice and He is living today, we don't need to use animals any longer. "He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself." (Hebrews 7:27) In other words, Jesus brings our prayers to the Father, and the Father sees us as pure.
But we must remember John 10:30 when Jesus says, "The Father and I are one."
So I personally don't think it is wrong to speak to Jesus when you pray; or think of Him when you think of the Bible. I think it is a good thing. I hope I have helped you. God bless you.
Thank you everyone for your words! They really helped! I see now that yes God is one and Romans 3:22 is talking about God's righteousness coming upon us! Jesus's, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father's righteousness coming upon us for He is one and the same!
Oh Sam, that was a deep question (((((; Haha. Okay so I done some research and what I found-
Question: "What are archangels?"
Answer: The word “archangel” occurs in only two verses of the Bible. First Thessalonians 4:16 exclaims, "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first." Jude verse 9 declares, "But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, 'The Lord rebuke you!'" The word “archangel” comes from a Greek word meaning "chief angel." It refers to an angel who seems to be the leader of other angels.
Jude verse 9 uses the definite article "the archangel Michael," which could possibly indicate that Michael is the only archangel. However, Daniel 10:13 describes Michael as "one of the chief princes." This possibly indicates that there is more than one archangel, because it places Michael on the same level as the other "chief princes." So, while it is possible that there are multiple archangels, it is best not to presume upon the Word of God by declaring other angels as archangels. Daniel 10:21 describes Michael the archangel as "your prince," and Daniel 12:1 identifies Michael as "the great prince who protects." Even if there are multiple archangels, it seems that Michael is the chief among them.
Maybe that helped. Some of these websites are also helpful ((:

Good one J.S.!! :D Honestly, I haven't really thought on that very much. I believe that the Angel of the Lord is Jesus. Jesus is God, and was down to earth in His angelic form. I can't seem to find the Scripture but Joshua was about to start a battle and comes up to Him to ask him what side he is on. When The Angel of the Lord replies, "I am the King of God's armies," Joshua falls on his face in worship, and we are to serve no one but the Lord. So, I believe it is God :D Very deep question!! What do you think? (:
I have a question: How can I encourage my pagan/wiccan friend Thea to read the Bible without seeming too forceful or critical? I invited her to do a Christmas Bible study with me back in December 2015, and she never joined. I feel that if she reads God's word for herself willingly, she might finally figure out that Jesus is the only way. Any ideas? I feel that at this point, it has to be a balanced scale. I don't want her to think that all roads outside of Jesus lead to Heaven because they don't, but at the same time I don't want to point fingers. Can anyone please help?
Pray! Seek God's advice on the matter. Daniel brought to Adonai, 2 pagan kings, through supernatural means, so don't hesitate to pray for God to demonstrate His awesome power to this person. It's not tempting God if your motives are pure. I have a Facebook friend and an aunt , who are witches, I know how you feel.
You are very welcome. Remember, don't do it on your own strength, that will only push them away from God.

Agree with James completely ((:
@James- Hmm.... I'll have to go study on that. Never really have studied on it ((;

You should. Throughout the book of Acts, God's power was demonstrated. Some people need more than your testimony; they need to see God's raw power in action.
How can Thea see God's power and action though? I believe that, I'm just wondering. I'm worried that she's not interested in looking for it, sadly most people these days, aren't that interested in it. I mean even if some of my friends and family don't attack me for it, they're nonverbals tell me they're indifferent to it.
That's okay, Rach! We all feel like that. But, there may be more going on that what we think ((; God really does work in mysterious ways, and sometimes that's without our knowledge, but just trusting in Him! I've had a hard time with that here lately, but still, God still stands there calmly telling me He had it all in His hands!! He knows and He cares <3 Trusting is one of the hardest, yet most amazing things that can be done <3
