I recommend A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore here is a really funny and different book about how 'Death' works and who are his minions..
The only problem is one little word f*@^ appearing lots through out the book but it kind of adds the pressure in it!

I thought we would have had some more ideas by now!!

I know that these strictly come under preteens but I got a laugh out of them as did my granddaughter, Tanaya
Diaries of Robins Toys by Ken and Angie Lake are so 'funny' in places you just have to chuckle no matter the age...
