Book Boyfriends discussion

Do you remember the first book that got you into reading?If so, which book was it and is there a story behind it?

(thought it might be fun to have some discussions)

For me what really got me into reading was the Harry Potter books. I remember I got a set of the first three (which I still have) from one of those catalogs we used to get in school. After I got hooked I think for every one of the other books I would pre-order and go pick it up at like 6 in the morning (dedication, yo) at the bookstore. xD I was a few years late joining the Potterheads but to this day I still love the characters and the story.

Great story! :D I still need to read the last two books but they're favorites of mine (as you probably know).

I don't really have a book that got me into reading. I just always loved it. I do remember we used to get this little books for free at school if we would sign up for it and I was always the only one that did. Always... ;)

I use to not like reading when I was a kid, but in high school I read Percy Jackson and my life changed. I now love reading.
