Hilda | 4 comments When you're reading at home and relaxing, do you drink anything?

I usually drink red wine or brandy.

message 2: by Jacqueline115 (new)

Jacqueline115 It depends on the time of the day. Usually a glass of ice water during the day and a glass of red wine at night

message 3: by Rasa (new)

Rasa I'll drink coffee if I get a chance to read in the morning but usually only get to read at night once my daughter goes to bed so I break out the M&Ms to get my chocolate fix.

Samantha (asteroidbuckle) | 6 comments When I read during my lunch break, I'm usually drinking my obligatory one can of Mountain Dew. At night, usually milk or chocolate milk.

message 7: by Jacksta (new)

Jacksta | 2 comments It depends on how the day or night is going.- A cup of joe in the morning, often holy basil.. Sometimes Guinness or red wine or cordials later in the day/eve.

I rarely am without beverage in hand, so I'll try to get them all:

If reading while waiting for the doctor: water

If reading over lunch: diet coke (usually caffeine free)

If reading in the evening: a glass of wine

If reading in the evening on the back porch in the summertime (with a cool breeze): a glass of icy white wine or a Mike's Hard Lemonade

If reading at night before sleeping: water and any of the evening FAB left over

Chris (incommunicado) Don't ostracize me, but I don't do coffee. (insert collective gasp here!) What I drink when I'm reading is just a reflection of what I normally drink: Diet Coke/Pepsi, iced tea, or water. Or when I'm particularly cold or just want to feel intellectual - hot tea.

message 10: by Ivy (new)

Ivy (luvbug) I usually drink ice water or Pepsi. A lot of the time I get so involved in the book I am reading my ice melts and then I have watered down whatever. In the evening I like some hot chocolate to help me relax and get my chocolate fix for the day. I don't care for coffee so don't drink it.

Either an orange soda, a Dr Pepper, water, or hot chocolate. My mom doesn't keep coffee around at her house because I'm the only person that likes it.

But normally I don't drink anything because I read the most when I either A) just woke up, or B) am about to go to bed.

message 12: by Arminius (new)

Arminius I drink coffee when I read, never anything else.

George King (kinggeorge) | 3 comments I don't drink anything, unless it's near dinner time, when I might be sipping some white wine. At bed time, I certainly don't drink anything, because the reading usually puts me to sleep, although sometimes it has the opposite effect!

Jen Cothran (Jen_Cothran) | 4 comments Mostly I drink diet coke, occasionally I like a good cup of coffee while I read to help keep me focused. :)

Betty Petite | 1 comments I usually drink the boring cold water but I also love tea. Oh, and hot chocolate in winter for sure!
