This is one of my two favorite series. I didn't like the first part of the first book but I really liked Cat and her mission so I kept reading. I loved the second half. And I even loved the second book more! I have the release of the 4th book marked on my calendar.
Oh you definitely will enjoy this series plus there is a steamy bedroom scene in the second book that was whoa ok.
i finished the first book last night and was mad that she left him in the end, but i know they will get together in the next book. cant wait for that bedroom scene either!!
Yeah that ending had people in uproar. i for one liked it just because you don't see that happening too much.
you're right that doesnt happen that often in books. yeah, i was upset but i think that will just make their relationship that much better and more interesting!
I have only read the first book so far but liked it! I have the 2nd book waiting at home to read once I'm done with current book i'm reading,
, then I HAVE to read
, then I may try to hit
@ jael, you were right. that bedroom scene was amazing!!! and i was reading it at work so that was a little arkward! overall, i loved this book and thought the addition of tate and juan was great. i'm so happy that cat and bones got "married".
I'm so with you Michelle! I just finished At Grave's End like last week and I just LOVED it! Can't wait to get to Destined for an Early Grave!
come on guys--read faster so we can discuss Early Grave No one around HERE has finished it yet, and I really want to talk about it. :o)

I finished it sometime ago. I have to say it was my least favorite of the series. Too much about the mother on it.
I finished EARLY GRAVE last month and I really liked it. I thought the twists/turns were great stuff. I guess I'm weird :)I can't wait until the spin-off series, but it's going to be be a *long* wait until the next Cat/Bones book :(

I finished it right after it came out and really liked it. Dracula is a favorite character of mine and I liked that he was a prominent character in this one.
Yeah--gotta love that Drac makes a nice long appearance in this one. I mean, what vamp loves ISN'T a fan of the Great One? As someone with family all over LA--including N.O.LA, I also loved the appearance of Marie. She's quite well known in the deep south, and visitors to N.O. should definately take the tour to visit her tomb.
And you need some about Cat's Mum. Like the fact that she is slowly growing herself and learning to live with the past. Also that she DOES love Cat, no matter what.
I loved Early Grave it was a great read but I hate that each book only have one sex scene even though they are steamy!

Well, these are technically UF, not PNR, so I guess that's why Frost didn't feel the need to put more in, maybe? I still enjoy the stories, and am counting down to the next book. :o)
yeah but Riley jensen is UF as well and boy do those get steamy. i love the Night Huntress series steamy sex scenes or not but when you have a great couple like Bones and Cat I think more than one sex scene should be given.
Sigh, I know I'D be jumping Bones all the time if I was Cat. But that's just ME. I mean, come on, so he's only handsome, loving, protective, but willing to let YOU do your thing. What's not to love, right?
Loved Destined for an Early Grave!!! I just love this series in general! I really didn't expect to love it so much, but it sneaks up on ya!!!!
IA I remember getting the first book and not being that intwrested in reading it and by the end of it I was in love.
I'm reading At Grave's end and I have to know. How many of you cried when you thought bones died? I did, even though I was almost positive he wasnt really dead. I think that frost did a good job of cat being upset and mourning.
Oh, and I have to say that one of the funniest parts of this book to me was when the found cat's mom and rodney together!! I was laughing so bad at that!
I will finish the book later tonight.

I cried then. Wait until you finish all the books. There were a couple of times I got really choked up.
Oh my gosh Michelle, cried isn't even the word for it, I literally sobbed!! I stayed up all night reading cuz I just didn't want to believe it and I couldnt' go to sleep thinking he was dead... yeah I get a little to attached to the characters LOL And yeah laughed my butt off when they caught Rodney and Cat's mom together! Classic! Love this series!
I just finished the first book and started the second. LOVED IT! I love Bones, he is a wondeful character. I started rereading the first one again last night because I enjoyed it so much. I have to admit, I flipped through the second one to get to this infamous sex scene I've heard so much about in all my groups...........not disappointed! lol
Finished the first 3 books and started the fourth. My Goal is to be done with it and not fall behind in the monthly challenge before the First Drop of Crimson comes out, can't wait! Bones and Cat are great, love them :)
hmmm Bones. How delicious. lol This is a great series I love picking up the next book and just getting lost in it.
OMG I hope not but she is busy with Spade series now. I know First Drop of Crimson is being released next month and than the second one in August. I can't wait that long for another cat/Bones book.
hmmm... apparently it's true. No more Cat until 2011.First Drop of Crimson is not part of a Spade series, though. It's the first of a series of standalone books focusing on different characters. The one coming out in August will have Mencheres as the main character.
oh ok I thought these were going to be books about him. Even so I guess that will fill my Cat/Bones ache until we get an actual book.
2011 seems so far away! I think First Drop of Crimson will be great though and I am currently reading Unbound, which has a Bones story. I can't get enough of that guy! :)
I got First Drop of Crimson a while ago but haen't picked it up. i heard it was just as good as the Night Huntress books. i can't wait for the next installment of Cat and Bones either!
it wasn't as good because it is about Spade and not the super sexy Bones, lol, can you tell I'm a Bones fan?, but it was still a good read. I think a book about Ian would be great, he is so funny.
Oh yes. This is a series that kept me up all night reading. I started book one on a Monday and finished them all by the end of the week. I'm so sad that we don't get more until 2011! I did really like First Drop of Crimson though. I love Spade...even if he isn't Bones. I think the second spin-off comes out this fall, so they at least help to tie us over! Oh man...I think I'm going to have to go back and read these again soon...I'm swooning while remembering my favorite scenes.
(grumbling) You think we could figure out a way to CLONE her and have the clones all working on different books at the same time--that way we could get MORE of Bones, Cat and all the rest of the "family" :o)
