For anyone who has finished The Sea Change and is looking to move on - maybe to something similar, I recommend:

The Light Between the Oceans by M L Stedman -- The fall-out when two islanders take on an orphaned baby and raise it as their own.

The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud -- one of my favourite novels from last year -- a disaffected teacher gets a second lease of life when she makes friends with a new family.

+1 on highly recommending The Light Between the Oceans. Really enjoyed that book and it stayed with me for a while.
