I have been praying for God's counsel on where we are on His timeline and how to pray for America. What is His vantage point? I have also been discussing this topic with several intercessors in my acquaintance.

What do you feel the Lord is saying, and how do you feel He is instructing you to pray for America?

His Spirit has required of me to acknowledge the state of America and to see it has He sees it. His purpose is not to save America but to prepare His Church for the reality of certain events that are to occur. Our democracy has continued to live above God's moral laws and the dire consequences of such will be permitted to their own hurt and such is giving things up to a reprobate mind.

He has commanded me to write two declarations and they are titled "Tears For America" dated 1991….and "An Answer To The Tears, My America". He spoke to me early for our God knew the prideful heart of the people and the lack of desire for the hope of His Son coming which is so silent in the churches. Are they looking for Him or looking out for themselves? So hear these words my sister Lee for they are in a book to help bring clarity, for this is an excerpt under the order of prophetic utterance that no one wants to hear.

In other words, Lee, the Lord is already saying it but most are hard of hearing even in far too many churches. For it is the duty of the Church to know the season for the coming of the Groom for his Bride….but do they sleep or are they sober? Saving a nation is secondary to saving his Church therefore what if so many churches are falling away under the freedom of democracy? For it is written the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church. We band under the banner of our national flag but do we band under the banner of the Cross as christians collectively? What has happened for the churches seem more divided among themselves than the nation of it's people! So perhaps that is why there is a rapture to yet occur. Because more than half the churches are given over to the democratic vote rather than the biblical mandates of the God we serve!

Where is their first love our Lord ask? The wheat will be protected but the tares will be left behind! The reality of the redemption of Israel is what most are refusing to see and the Holy Spirit grieves for it is already forewarned in Romans Ch11 and the season is ripe for it's finality! Are we worshipping God in spirit and in truth, or busy protecting our traditions far more than promoting the Gospel of Christ? The whole earth is the Lord not just America and it is the whole earth God is preparing to deal with!

To properly intercede we must not pray for ourselves but pray to know His Will as it is in accordance to the already written Word….for it lives….Still! And it is the Holy Spirit which will lead so may the few pray the effectual prayer of the righteous for the many. Let us indeed pray that we may have strong backs. For the season of change that is sure to come, just in case we are given a heavy load to bare!

Great question. I am eager to read other responses.

My husband and I headed up a special time of prayer following the Sunday service several weeks ago, specifically for the nation. That morning when I woke up, the phrase "game changers" was in my mind. I felt we had God's favor for "fourth quarter turnaround." About 15 of us gathered to listen and pray. At the end of our prayer time, one woman had a picture of a road that started out broad, narrowed, then eventually broadened again. She asked if anyone had an interpretation, but no one did. Later, it struck me that it was a picture of our liberties here (which would go along with what you shared, Greg).

The hideous news released this week about Planned Parenthood I believe is a major answer to prayer of evil being exposed. I have felt led to make proclamations about the abortion agenda in this nation (with my husband and in a prayer group). Former pro-choice people are transformed in the twinkling of an eye, PP is scorned and defunded, and a righteous outcry is going forth in the land.

Oh, one more thing. I've felt led to pray the psalms over the media quite a bit. The media has been such a mouthpiece for the enemy in governing mindsets in this country, exalting humanism and demonic thought and stifling testimony of Christ. One declaration I felt the Lord gave me to make was, "You will prosper the kingdom of heaven or you will not prosper."

Well said, Emily. I have often thought of a key verse that warns of abortion being so freely done based on our rights. In Romans Ch 1: 26 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature." Some say this is referring to lesbianism but I disagree though that as well is unacceptable. It seems the "natural use" of women is to give birth because of the affections that come from men. It is totally against the nature of women or any birthing female in the animal and even insect world to destroy the life of what their very own body has provided. This is what God designed the woman and it is as inherent in her being as the air she breathes. Abortion on the magnitude we have now is unprecedented and the scripture reference seems unreal in times past but speaks loudly in the "now" generation.

Women have always had choice with consequences but for the govt or the majority of it's people to sanction it, clearly it is against the moral principle of what God allows. I believe this verse warns of such a state of affairs to come among so many other areas of concern brought out by Romans Ch 1. It warns of giving things up to a reprobate mind. In other word's have it your way and see for yourself the error of your sins. Forgiveness is always available but let's not kid ourselves for even the scripture state many refuse to repent.

Also, it is clear that democracy which in times past supported freedom of religion and therefore Christianity flourished. Christianity is now floundering and steadily becoming a "fallen away" institution from it's firm doctrinal principles of faith based on hope and under democratic control. Instead focusing on a "Kingdom Now" ideology with various new ideas. And some of the most dramatic is the recent action by the Episcopalians Branch which now fully accept and perform same sex marriages at the altar of God. Just 10 years ago no one would have ever thought this, including the ones who are performing the services.
I personally believe God's grace (favor) is being withdrawn and the churches are finding themselves more and more under the control of democracy and hence majority rule. The exemptions and the exceptions are being taken away…and from prophet's view…rightfully so.

Episcopalians is major branch of christianity and there are other branches preparing to do the same. Just go to the search engine and ask for churches that perform same sex marriages and it details just how pervasive the reinterpretation of scripture has found itself in the house of the Lord. This is the extreme side of the problem yet very visible. If we can ignore this then we can ignore everything in between and the salt is all but washed away.

I am getting preachy though I don't mean to but we are the prophets of the Lord on the Gentile side. Where are those that preach God's righteousness and yet offer repentance …Still? Perhaps, our prayers need to look forward for what is behind us is growing by leaps and bounds. The Lord says therefore when ye see these things…..Rejoice and know that the time is near! As christians, are we consumed with the politics of this world and the fruits of our labor and the freedom as we please to the point of forgetting our First Love as warned in the Seven Letters to the Churches in Revelations? Let us pray indeed…even with tears that some may hear the voice of His Spirit and be sober.

Concerning the coming of our Lord, we need to bind doubt and loose hope magnified by enduring faith to the glory of our God. But what do I get in return? There is an old maxim that quotes "silence speaks volumes for even such lukewarmness gives an answer". So then silence is thunder because the response from so many churches is cold dead silence and God knows it! Jesus have mercy in that day when you roar as the Lion of Judah!!

Lee, I am curious to know what you have been hearing?

I continue to pray for mercy for the nation because of the righteous ones who still live here. I pray for a national repentance to sweep through, and for an awakening to still come. My sense is that the time for judgment is not yet, if we will pray for it to be held off.

I, too, have been praying for an outcry against Planned Parenthood to arise and increase -- an outcry that will not be silenced until change comes.

I have not been hearing God speak a great deal, other than to keep focused on Him and not buy into the fear so many people are in.

Lee, It's interesting you say that you've not heard God speak a great deal - do you have any thoughts why He might be more silent?

For me personally, it might be because I have had other concerns in the last few weeks to pray for. My focus has not been on the nation quite as much at this time for that reason.

The other element involved is that we all hear/prophesy in part. He doesn't tell everything to any of us. Sometimes He just wants us to trust in the midst of not knowing the future.

I've been feeling too like God has been more silent on this and a few other issues. It's puzzled me. I was reminded of Jesus' encounter with the Syro-Phoenician woman. "He answered her not a word." Jesus didn't respond immediately because He wanted to draw out her faith. His silence caused her to become more persistent and aggressive for healing for her daughter.

I have been wondering at times if the silence is God wanting me to go for it. Like He is saying "You know my will. you know My word. go after this.Take the kingdom by force."

In a way, it's encouraging to know I am not alone in not hearing a lot of specifics. Sometimes I think we feel a pressure from others to be hearing from God -- but if He isn't speaking, He just isn't speaking, and we can rest in that being OK.

I will say that I am watching to see what is going on with Donald Trump's popularity. Even some Christian leaders are promoting him. In the natural, his rise to prominence strikes me as very odd. So, I am watching and inquiring of the Lord as to what His purpose is in this.

It could be that He will use Mr. Trump to bring some issues to the forefront that nobody else will talk about. It could be that He will use him to test the hearts and discernment of God's people. It's possible that He will turn Mr. Trump's heart to Himself. God has used odd people and strange circumstances for His own purposes many times in the past. So, I'm intrigued by where this might go. -- And, I keep inquiring of Him.

It feels like the nation is resting on a great powder keg which a single strike of a match could send flying in any number of directions.

For the last year or so, I've been praying specifically that God would raise a presidential candidate with a Jehu anointing on him. That this individual would neither be seduced nor intimidated by the mass media, but would in fact cut through its powers of manipulation piece by piece to take a position of authority.

Many years ago I had a profound prophetic vision concerning America. Everyday that passes seems to be getting us closer and closer to what the Lord revealed to me. Now is the time for America to repent and turn back to being the God fearing nation she once was! God is patiently waiting for us to do so.

Thank you, Ariela. This must have been quite a traumatic vision, especially as you were a young child at the time.

I believe there are some things which cannot be held back forever from happening, but, as you said, if we pray for repentance to take place, and cry out for mercy, God will hear. It seems we are still in a time when mercy is still God's plan.

There is coming a day when judgment will be poured out -- that Great Tribulation period of Revelation. I believe that as long as the Church is still here on earth we have the mandate to pray turnaround into the hearts of people and nations, if He has not said, "Don't pray for mercy anymore." There comes a night season when no man can work (John 9:4).

Hello dear ones.

I've been getting boosts of faith to pray impossible prayers lately...they sometimes come at random times during the day when I'm not even in prayer. But it's encouraging, because if it were too late for some of these things, God would not give the gifts of faith. Specifically, I've been led to pray:

1) For the Cut-off of corruption in government and to replace the devil's agents with Spirit-filled leaders and Cyruses.

2) To see righteous leaders of free nations who can face the evil of this day, like Queen Esther. I was thinking how God appointed people like Winston Churchill to recognize and face Nazi Germany, Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher to oppose the Soviet Union, etc. We know Christians were praying and fasting and that's what ultimately took down these giants. But surely God is able and willing to put into leadership strong and godly leaders to come against Iran, ISIS, etc. for the desperate needs of this generation.

3) End Planned Parenthood, and to see Life-giving health agencies take its place. Last night I was thinking of all the people I know personally who had death/near-death experiences, and testified of being shown aborted babies in heaven. All had this common denominator, and I was struck wondering if anything is nearer to the heart of God right now. I was led to decree with our prayer group that MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ACROSS THE NATION ARE HAVING DREAMS/VISIONS OF ABORTED BABIES, AND A CRY IS BEING HEARD THROUGHOUT THE LAND LIKE RACHAEL MOURNING HER CHILDREN AND REFUSING TO BE COMFORTED, and turning from this savagery with broken hearts.

4) A media outlet that carries greater weight and favor than any of its competition, and reports righteously and relentlessly. It will be hated and despised for purporting the truth, but will have a supernatural anointing on it, much like the Two Witnesses described in Revelation 11.

5) For an end to divisions in the church, be it through denominations, race culture, style preferences, etc. out of outpourings of Holy Ghost love.

One more general thought: We are to be praying God's kingdom come to earth, and preparing the way for His reign on earth. Our prayer mindset therefore must be "of the increase of His government there shall be no end" -- it is a mindset that does not allow room for failure or permanent setback!

Amen, Emily! Every point that you mentioned is what I have been receiving in the spirit to pray for! In a Near Death Experience, I was shown that abortion is murder since life does indeed begins at conception! It is a horrific plague that covers this nation in sin!
The need for tearing down the walls that divide us through our denominational beliefs is also a very important spiritual need. We must remove the barriers between us in order to allow the spirit of God to work within the Body of Christ. I was also shown the great need to tear down these walls during these critical end times!
