Announcement 001 || 21. 07. 2015

Following the accordance and manners of The Selection series, only a limited number of selected Fives, Sixes, and Sevens will be allowed. Please remember that less than 25% of the 35 girls are from castes 5,6, and 7 (if you do the math, that means no more than 8 girls should be from the lower castes). Because of this, we are only allowing 1 seventh caste girl, 2 sixth caste girls, and 4-5 fifth caste girls. We will make a character chart of the selected, please check up on it routinely if you plan to make a character from the lower caste to make sure that there is still room to accommodate your lower caste selected girl.

Please also remember that the lower your caste number, the higher the chances of getting eliminated. In The Selection by Kiera Cass, all the Fives, Sixes, and Sevens (with the exception of America) were eliminated in the first round. While we will definitely not be so drastic, the principle still stands: the lower the caste, the harder it is to win. Keep this in mind as you make your selected and choose what caste they're from. If you have claimed one of the royal children (from the families of Shreaves or the Alldays), you must get in contact with the creators of the parents (Percival, Elysia, Roan, Julia, Charles, and Liss). Whether or not you were present for the 2nd Selection, without talking to the members who made the characters above, there will be conflicting plotlines and character-developments. The Character Claim thread has been updated so that the parents, whether or not they are deceased, have also been added along with the members who made them.

If you have a royal character, it is mandatory that you talk with the people who made their parents, whether it is in the collaborations thread or over private messaging. Thank you.

All the positions for castes Five, Six, and Seven have been filled. All selected girls made from this point on are expected to be Fours and up.

There are only about nine spots left for selected girls this selection, so if you'd like to make one please hurry before all spots are full!

Also, time is of the essence in the case of the royals and we request that all major royals (such as the crown prince, his two younger siblings, and all other major players) be completed as soon as possible so we can begin RP.

RP opens now! That's right everyone, you heard me correctly. Despite the fact that there are still five selected spots to fill, we have decided to open RP now. All Selecteds are to begin RP in the entrance hall, and progress from there. You can do whatever you'd like with everyone else. We'll try to get everybody's rooms up as soon as possible! Now go ahead and RP your hearts out.

Announcement 007 || 07. 09. 2015

As most of you probably know, we now have all 35 selected girls created! The thread has been frozen and selected creation is now closed. However there's still plenty of maids an guards to be made, so don't worry if you didn't get a Selected girl in!

We've cut everyone a bit of slack recently, what with school starting and life getting extremely hectic, but it's time to buckle down and get this group back alive! If you haven't already done so, please make sure to post with your selected girl (it makes it easier on us mods to track who's been used if you post in the entrance hall, but it isn't completely necessary).

Another note on activity; as of this moment, everyone with a major character claimed officially has two weeks to complete and post them, or else their claim will be taken down. I'm as guilty of this as the rest of you (I still have two to make, oops), and I know life has been extremely hectic, but please please please make them soon. These characters will be extremely important to the roleplay, so it's very important to have them made as soon as possible! If you haven't made your important character (this only includes characters in the character claim thread) by September 23rd, your claim will be deleted and the spot will be open for other people to claim.

One last note on rooms; myself and the other mods are working as hard as we can to get them done, but they are extremely time consuming and what with school having started, we're all extremely busy. So thanks for your patience on that matter, and we'll try as hard as we can to get them all up as quickly as we can!
