10.9 - Colorful Captions
These won't work:
- need 2 different colors
- outlines don't work, individual words or letters must be different colors
- authors & subtitled do not count. Letters in the title must be different colors.
Kathy G. wrote: "Does this count for 2 colors?
"No, sorry, Kathy. It needs to be two different colors. I'll clarify that in the task description.

"Sorry, Anne, the title of
is all the same color.
Jayme(the ghost reader) wrote: "Is there a list for this or more option choices?"I haven't seen a list specifically for this, but if you go to your GRs shelves (or those of someone with a lot of books) and click on the four squares on the right-hand side you'll get a bunch of book covers.

Can I get a ruling on this one?
It seems a little different than the other examples, since each individual letter is two colors (yellow and purple). If it doesn't work for that reason, I'll find somewhere else to slot it, but figured it was worth asking.

Since the yellow is much more substantial than just an outline, I'll take it. When you post the books for points, though, please mention that it was approved in the help thread so that DLMRose doesn't have to rethink it.
Here are some I found on my shelves.
- The Canadian and Australian editions also look to have two colors in the title.
- Most of the original Harry Potter covers (both from the US and the UK) work for this. The only ones that don't are the U.S. Order of the Phoenix and the UK Deathly Hallows. I think these are all okay:
- I think these are far enough apart to not be considered shades, I would call it yellow to orange!
Vicky wrote: "Here are some I found on my shelves..."I would call
yellow and orange, too, so that works. However,
appears to be two shade of pink. The only other one that won't work is
. Subtitles don't count and Zombies is all one color. Other than that, the other ones are great examples!
I knew I would miss one with a subtitle, lol!My copy of One Day is definitely orange and pink, the image on GR is kind of faded. I don't want to change the image on GR to this one because it's a copy of a bent book and looks terrible - but here's another image from Amazon that shows the colors better.

You could use that one as long as that cover is included in the post.
