What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi,
I had a "where is waldo" type book back in the 90s. It was a book about pollution and general environmental destruction and there always was a reporter to find in the illustrations. Different scenes were illustrated like a suburb or an intersection.


I loved this book as a kid and would be very happy if somebody knew the title.

Was the book in English? It did have text, or was it just illustrations?

I don't remember either english or german there were some text boxes but I mostly remember illustrations.

Was it an actual book, or a comic book?

I would say a comic book with hard cover if that makes sense.

That makes sense. I'm sure it must have been traditionally published if it was hardcover.

What country were you in when you read it?

This was in Switzerland, I believe the text was either english or german.

Yes they both don't match, the painting style is close to waldo books if I recall correctly. There was a reporter to search in every picture instead of waldo.

Many thanks for your reply! I am indeed still looking! I love books by Ali Mitgutsch and had many of them as a child but unfortunately the book I am looking for was not one of his works.
