I'm Shonazee (pronounce : Sho-nay-zee) and here are little somethings about me, .
• You might find me hogging (Hyderabadi)Biryani and reading a sappy romantic book at wee hours on weekends (It's weird but unlike most people, it's romance that keeps me up at night) .
• And cramming medical jargons from huge textbooks (with daal chawal) on rest of the days. .
• I heart Khaled Hosseini, so if you're reading/have read/plan to read his books, we're bffs already!
• A Thousand Splendid Suns is my personal favourite.
• I'm a sucker for well constructed phrases laced with raw emotions. .
•Isla from Isla and the Happily Ever After is my fictional twin/spirit person. .
•I listen to radio and LOVE snail-mailing. (Guess I'm old school like that)
• @ofinkandpages On bookstagram :)
• I like things organized and systematic (unfortunately, my room is not one of those "things") .
•Oh and I'm the eldest of this lot, 21years old.
Just your typical fangirl-next-door, with unacceptable number of book boyfriends and 0 social skills.
I hope to get to know you guys well, befriend maybe? and read and discuss and do all the cool booknerd stuff!
Welcome to the Fictional Fortress, again ;)

Hey, I'm Nikita. I currently live in Delhi. I haven't lived in India for long, about 5 and half years of the entire 20 years of me life. I've lived a gypsy's life all through. I was born in Delhi though, and am Bengali by origin. I've always loved reading, a trait I've inherited from me mommy. I mostly read books of young adult, new-adult, contemporary genre but I also love reading historical romances. So...yeah...that's all I could think of as my initial introduction. I hope to make some indian bookworm friends here as I know a very few of them. :))
Hey, Abhishek here. I was never an avid reader. I just read academic books that too to help me pass the exams. :PI started reading just 3 years back. My first book was Chetan Bhagat's 'The 3 Mistakes of my Life'. Honestly it was a decent one for a beginner. Nevertheless I'm glad that I at least picked up something and haven't looked back since then! :)
I feel introductions are in order! Shall we start?
1. I'm 19, studying Economics, from Delhi University.
2. I love reading. A lot.
3. The second love of my life is pizza or burger.
4. Even though I read any genre, I'll always prefer Mystery, Crime sort of books to others. The lack of mystery in my life is compensated only through these books.
5. I'm an introvert. People describe me as ambivert and even extrovert. But, I'm neither. I am introvert and only internet saves me from the loneliness I sometimes feel.
6. For Indians, I'm a malayalee! A proud Keralite! ❤
7. I am a trained classical dancer (mohiniyattam) :)
8. My favorite authors Dan Brown, Khaled Hosseini, Jeffrey Archer.
Okay, that's some basic facts! I hope we will all have fun here!

Hey guys, I'm Suraj and my abode is in Goa. Thanks for the invite, @Nivedita. Well, I'm 20. When I was a little boy, I used to devour any book I got my hands on, most of those were historical and mythological. I was one of those fortunate people who got their doctrines from their mother. My mother taught History and English to us in the initial years of secondary enducation.
There, I developed a craving for history and mythology.
I seemed to have lost my reading habit, until few years ago, but I never lost my interest in books.
Another thing I'm very much proud of is cycling. I have an experience of few expeditions under my belt.
I haven't read much books so I haven't got a list of favourite authors brimming with people. But yes there's Amish Tripathi
and Robin Sharma
, and I'm sure the list will get bigger and better with days to come.I don't try to read only a particular genre of books. I like versatility. But if I've to mention, then they'd be Mythology, Historical, Philosophy, Classics, Fiction, few Non-Fiction, Mystery, Crime, Suspense, Thriller.
I also am a movie buff. I write reviews of both, movies and books and other articles are just some doodles.
And I'm currently finishing up on To Kill a Mockingbird
, will start with The Cuckoo's Calling
soon. I've also got a madness to collect books, and right now there's no place to keep'em. My other interests lie in Cycling, Watching movies & T.V. Series.
Oh! I almost forgot, I have long hair, well medium kinda and I tie a pony.

So anyways, I hope to have loads of fun. Cheers!(Khushiyaan)

Wow, so many interesting bookworms. The diversity in this group is amazing. I am sure the conversations will be rocking too!I am Gaurav Prabhu from Mumbai. By profession, I am a photographer but I also love to read. Recently, I published my first book "Memoirs of Vadodara" & happy that it is one ticked dream. I always wished to tell a story. There are more within me.

Do read & share it.
My favorite genre is non-fiction, as I like books which help one become a better person. Time & again I do dabble in other genres just for a change. Robin Sharma, Priya Kumar, Dan Brown, Ken Follet are a few of my favorite authors.
Other hobbies include tinkering with Linux OS as I also happen to be a certified Linux Professional.
Hello, Friends I am Arpit (I know that you know how to pronounce it. Don't you??) from Gwalior (M.P.).
I am an engineering (CSE) student {please don't talk about it}.
Reading was my fav activity since Childhood But Novels I tried only one year Before. I love to read every page of the Newspaper (Except Business and Sports). I can't live without Newspaper and my addiction for newspaper started when I was in my 6th grade (Maybe 5th).So it is also obvious that I should also interested in politics and I am.
I am totally introvert and so I've not many friends (Even virtual friends, I am not on Facebook). (Books are becoming my new friends but textbook never.)
Interest: Reading (!!), Thinking, Talking to myself, Drawing, TV serials, Gossip with my mom, Programming, Bloging (will soon start) and Twitter.
I've a soft corner for Pakistan (really!!!) because I believe in communal harmony. (Pak serials, I love them.)
Books: Every genre, but not Romance
Enough???
Yes!!!

Hey guys and girls!! I am Shilpa from Kolkata! I just finished my B.Tech. Apart from that I live in books, movies and TV shows.. :DI read almost every genre. I can be caught reading just about anything! :P
I am a Potterhead..contemplating on re-reading the series soon again!
I am also a big fan of Dan Brown books.. That man made me start reading!
I wish I could be immortal so that I could read all the books in existence. Immortality should give me enough time to learn all other languages as well. No written word shall remain unread! :D Unless the Earth or the Universe decides to get destroyed first..which has a larger chance of happening as more books will keep coming out till then.. BUT I must try! :P
I am a book polygamist for the most part.. Currently reading:
. I don't know how I managed to start so many at once! :OTrying to get into monogamy and it is clearly not working! :/
Also this should tell you that I pretty much read quiet varied books..
My twitter handle is @shilpaReads and have recently started an instagram account as shilpa_chakraborty!
Looking forward to having a lot of fun here! :)
Immortality would seriously be awesome! There are just too many books and movies for on human lifetime! Not fair! :(
